Bad customer service. Admin office lady looks you down.

Terrible. I needed some tests done at an imaging center (and then follow ups), most appointments had to be canceled and rescheduled because the doctors orders or insurance approval wasn’t submitted. Jen, who answers the phone, was extremely rude to me over the phone. I called several times to find out test results and was NEVER gotten back to. Worst healthcare I’ve ever received.

Terrible doctor and staff. Multiple canceled appointments for testing because paperwork wasn’t submitted. I’ve never been contacted about results (of multiple tests) even after calling. Save yourself the trauma and find a different doctor.

My review is amazingly similar to the person's review left here before mine. Dr. Kidokoro is not the PCP I want on my insurance card. She pretty much did me the same way years ago, when I went to see her. Before ANY tests were done, or grabbing the health chart to know which patient she was talking to, she just jumped to conclusions and then had me go over to have X-rays done in La Jolla. The tests came back negative -- quite the opposite of what she proposed was the issue. I never got a follow-up from her and her office pretty much stopped calling me, lol. That's pretty horrible. You can't preach to people about stuff, without having a proper look at them, or without looking through their latest health chart with your office. I mean, I have a pretty good health record. No high blood pressure, no diabetes, no high cholesterol. If you are not as thin as a Yasuko Barbie, expect lots of guessing of what your problems/issues are. Why can't doctors be neutral and professional anymore? They do a much better job at the Urgent care place I have been to.

No. Just no. Unless you want to go to a doctor who guesses your diagnosis BEFORE actual testing/results...do not go to her. Period. She stopped seeing me, when a test result came back opposite her assumptions. And to think that I had to listen to her preach to me and argue about my reason for visiting her practice that day, makes me a little bitter. She was being prejudicial towards her patient and might do it to the next one! Just because one has been a doctor for a long time, does not mean that they are doing a good job. They might have at some point, but may become too comfortable with needing to be right.

Friendly and professional

I found Dr. Kidokoro through my insurance and I don't easily trust new doctors but I must say that I am very comfortable in this office. Everyone is attentive and kind and best part of it all is that I can take care of multiple things at once. I can have my annual papsmear done, bloodwork, and your general check up all in one office. I don't know why Dr. Kidokoro has a low score when to me she knows a lot and explains everything to me. My husband and I are very fortunate to have found her.

I have been a patient with Dr. Kidokoro for over three years and she has been a wonderful doctor. She is an excellent and kind doctor. I highly recommend her to anyone who seeks a brilliant doctor. It is evident to me that she genuinely cares about people. She has always taken great care of me. She clearly has a vast amount of knowledge and experience. I feel fortunate to have her as my doctor.

While Dr. Kidokoro is competent enough, her staff is a disaster. It is impossible to get an appointment by phone since nobody ever answers or returns phone calls. The office equipment seems very old and behind the times technologically. I have since gone elsewhere but still have to deal with their incompetence since they have yet to give my new doctor my records.
