Dr. Charles scheduled me for an annual follow up then retired and Dr. Shibutani told me he didn't have time for a social visit. Also my pharmacy called office for Rx renewal, got no answer after 4 days

I have been seeing Dr. Shibutani for 10 years, he is professional and takes time to explain care and treatment, always available, takes calls, answers portal questions promptly. Multiple office locations, office workers and Nurses courteous and pleasant to work with.

Dr.Shubitani and Staff are very caring .He breaks down the situation and helps you understand urologic issues with care and compassion.Heidi the Nurse is wonderful and supportive .It is so important to have health care providers who listen and understand your unique situation and provide good care and direction!Thanks

My husband saw him today and he’s inpatient and condescending. My husband was at ER a few days ago for what he thought was another Kidney stone and was told to see Urlogist within two days due to pain and outcome of urine and blood tests because it’s not stones. The doctor kept talking to him about stones the had 3 years ago and not the issue he is having now. He left with more questions and absolutely no answers. While we are sure he is competent his bed side manner is horrendous and showed zero concern for someone in obvious discomfort.

Dr. Shibutani and his staff have been excellent !! When he performed my kidney stone surgery in hospital, and subsequent urological procedures in the office, he was extremely competent, called after hours to check on my progress and medication success, constantly communicated my situation to me clearly and with hope...His Office staff were very friendly, efficient, empathetic and guided me well. I have received a superb quality of both emergency and maintenance care, and would recommend him and his staff for any of these very sensitive/critical areas of the body. His urological and general medical knowledge and care are outstanding. For me, being squeamish about pain, things were even relatively pain-free, which is a miracle !! Many Blessings to him, and his staff, and hopes for a continued successful practice...

Doctor Shibutani was very nice and pleasant. He was very knowledgeable about any questions I had to ask him. I’m very happy I found him. I’ve been looking for a good urologist for quite a while. I would highly recommend him.

Highly recommend. Dr. Shibutani was my urologist when I was diagnosed with testicular cancer and I couldn't have asked for a better healthcare professional. His bedside manner and knowledge put me at ease and helped get me through a very scary time. My experience with him and his staff was a 10/10 and I will continue to use him as my urologist for as long as I can.

I found Dr. Shibutani to be one of the best doctors that I have ever worked with. From the first time I met with him I could tell that he was straight forward and really knew his job; but also a very compassionate man, which is a hard find! I would highly recommend him to anyone. I had bladder cancer and he saved my life! He definitely is at the top of the list for leading urologist!

My wife has been a patient of Dr. Shibutani’s for a few months. I wanted to add a review because it’s been clear to me how much she trusts this doctor. After having no one to rely on to help her with health issues in Dr Shibutani’s area of expertise, she is finally at ease. This doctor has taught her about what is going on in her body, has cared for her with kindness and concern snd has helped her through several difficult situations. That helps me to relax and know that she is in good hands!

I have seen Dr. Shibutani a number of times. He is professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. I met him when I had to go to the ER and have become one of his regular patients.

As far as a technician goes, Shibutani is good. However, he is the most condescending and impatient physician I have ever met. When I reported his horrendous attitude to his office, it was ignored. There are a lot better Urologists with a whole lot better attitude and bedside manner. Would never recommend this physician.

Saw Dr. Shibutani for a circumcision consultation, he was condescending and impatient. When I ask about his experience doing this specific type of surgery, he was offended and replied, "you could find another urologist ", in which I happily did. Absolutely not recommended by me.

Dr. Shubutani saw my wife a number of years ago; she had a kidney infection. He ridiculed her by suggesting that all her pain was psychosomatic and she would be better helped by losing weight. She happened to get a call from, not the doctor or the office, but the drugstore and was told she had a script there. For a kidney infection. We will NEVER see this condescending person again!

Warm, professional, caring manner, explained everything in detail, inspired confidence, no surprises. Staff is businesslike and efficient. Highly recommended based on my experience having a "dandelion" removed from my bladder.

Dr. Shibutani was patient, caring and knowledgeable. My husband was diagnosed with nodules on his prostate by another urologist who suggested they be removed, and he want to Dr. Shibutani for a 2nd opinion. Dr. Shibutani confirmed there were NO nodules on his prostate; in addition, his prostate was not even enlarged. My husband had several more tests to confirm, and with each, the doctor was the one to call and advise of the test results. His staff is courteous and respectful.

After the office rescheduled twice (both times I was told the very day of the appointment, both times this was due to the doctor having a "family emergency"). My third appointment was scheduled for 10:30, I arrive at the office at 10:15, then wait in line for 10 mins to sign in. I am at this point told very rudely by a secretary that the doctor doesn't wish to see me anymore because "You didn't arrive 15 mins prior to appointment (which I did, they were spent waiting in line) and if you disagre

Had a CT done scan in Abington Memorial. I came in for a scheduled appointment with Dr. Sibutani. I was told the appointment was canceled by front desk. No prior notice or explanation whatsoever. How they are in business is beyond me.
