Dr. Yen My Tran

As I’m searching for a new Obgyn, I ran across Dr. Yens name. I’ll never forget her. My doctor went on vacation right after she delivered my baby so Dr. Yen had to assist after she left. I was in excruciating pain. She told me I had a big baby and that I needed to toughen up and she wasn’t giving me any pain medicine. I was so hurt because I am young and healthy. Never used or needed any type of medication besides prenatals. I would never recommend her and will never forget how she treated me.

Its a great drug, and its what you're getting. *One week later* Hey so I've been taking the nitro for a week and it has not made any difference, my uti is worse than before. Just like every other time I've taken this drug. Can you please give me something else? Why didn't you tell us that happened before? I did. I STRONGLY told you multiple times. Dr tran was an awful ob! She scared into an induction I didn't want. She gave me am episiotomy knowing my Epidural quit working, and lied on the paperwork afterwards saying that I tore. And on top of all that, when I asked for medication for my ppd, she told me to "find a different doctor". I will NEVER AGAIN see ANYONE from this office. Dr Tran told me I had a fibroid tumor and it was ok. I kept calling asking size and location and they told me and I kept asking “isn’t this quite large”? And the front kept telling me “no Dr Tran says it’s fine”! Found new internist and she asks have you had a pap smear and I say yes. Dr. Tran above you has my records. My new internist pulls up my ultrasound records and says “oh my you have a large tumor” and I say “ no Dr Tran says it’s fine”. She says “ no your getting a second opinion outside of here”! So I go to new o gym and she says “can you be in surgery Tuesday. This is on Friday “. I start crying and say what? So after surgery the cancer doctor and her come in and say I wouldn’t have been alive for my next Pap smear. The tumor was shutting all my organs down!!! This woman should not be in practice!!! I have been going to her for years. She listens, she understands, and she is so thoughtful. I would highly recommend Dr.Yen Tran!

Dr. Tran is an amazing OB. She answers all questions and is so thoughtful. She got me through an emergency csection.

Dr Tran delivered via csection all three of my babies. I was referred to her by the surgeon who removed a fibroid from my uterus that was preventing me from becoming pregnant. She is very very good at her work. After my third baby the surgery staff were in awe saying “that was the cleanest surgery they had ever seen…there was like no blood!” We have a great relationship based on trust and I am so glad to have her as my physician. My recoveries are always swift and painless. I am usually up and around by day 2 with very little pain. I am so grateful to her! Dr Tran delivered via csection all three of my babies. Underdiagnosed with Endometriosis for 10 years under her care. Less than a year before I managed to see one of the top specialists in the country she preformed a second laparoscopy where she discovered supposedly little to no signs of scarring or damage (diagnosed stage 1 by her). When I had my hysterectomy I had a large visible uterine fibroid via ultrasound, my uterus was enlarged, discolored, and had fused to my colon, ureters, and my back inner wall near a bundle of nerves that left me with nerve damage. I was diagnosed at this point with stage 4 endometriosis. My surgeon was enraged after my surgery stating that there had been no evidence any tissue had been surgically removed from my ovaries, colon, or uterus previously. I suffered in severe pain for years. I still have chronic pain from the nerve damage. I have PTSD from this experience. Do not see her for anything but the most basic care.

I've been seeing this doctor for about 6 years and the experience has always been great. Until i got pregnant. Although i was given two ultrasounds i didn't get my first ob visit until 13 weeks. I was never given any instructions on prenatal care. When i arrived i was put into a room with my spouse with no idea what was going to happen. When ultrasound showed a failed pregnancy it was terribly awkward and though she was kind the doctor was not comforting. She didn't let me process anything. i was given immediately given 20 minutes of verbal instructions which i remembered nothing of because i was in shock. If this is your first pregnancy or you are advanced age i hope your experience is better than mine. I won't be back.

I’ve been having my fears about pregnancy and labor since young. Dr. Tran has been incredibly patient with all my crazy thoughts and worries, listened to what I wanted and explained everything. She would take as long as it needs to give me all the information, evaluate the risk and benefits about each choice, and help me to make the decision. The surgery was also very successful, everything was well-prepared and under control. The pain was way less than I expected, and the recovery was super fast. All in all, it was a pleasant experience thanks to Dr. Tran, and this means a lot from a person who's been afraid of pregnancy and childbirth her whole life.

Amazing Doctor.

I had my first baby with her back in 2013, and very glad I did so. She was very caring and personable. If you are looking for a professional in Tulsa area, you should definitely go to her.

She is the very good doctor. Wish every doctor like her.

I have been a patient of Dr Tran’s for 14 years. She is the most kind-hearted and caring gynecologist you could have. She’s very thoughtful, really gets to know you as a person and takes her time with you. I wouldn’t choose any other doctor but her!

After having a horrible experience with a previous OBGYN, I was hesitant when I first went to see Dr. Tran. However, she is incredibly kind, genuine, and forthright. She will spend as much time as you need to feel comfortable. I am currently expecting my first child and have placenta previa. She called me after hours to answer all the questions I had (the diagnosis came from an imaging center.) I have referred all of my friends and family to her. I wish she could be my primary care doctor.
