Waited more than two hours to see this physician who had then had no time for me. She never asked why I was there, she didn't review any of the records and imaging I brought to the appointment, she didn't conduct even a basic exam, she denied that I could have the symptoms that I sought her assistance for, and she clearly had no interest in helping me.

dr ying is very encouraging she made me understand what I needed to be done and she came through for me so she is great in her field, and understanding such a gifted doctor, knows all patient also great bedside manner love her. May God bless her and guide her.

So I volunteered to be the medical team lead for a refugee family from Afghanistan - RAMP - Refugee Assistance of Morris Partners. This family had a very sick baby who had multiple medical issues including severe to profound deafness Thru Early Intervention of Morris County we were referred to this doctor and her great team especially the fabulous audiologist, Dr Nicole Raia. Now the clinic is in Newark and sometimes there was a bit of a wait but getting a "specialist" on Medicaid, which is the insurance the family had, is really challenging and we were so happy to find these doctors. The two year old had surgery for cochlear implants in December and I am delighted to say she now CAN HEAR! Wow! Thank You! I highly recommend Dr. Ying! Dr. Ying found my CP angle Meningioma which is a non-cancerous brain tumor. I had been experiencing hearing loss, dizziness, balance issues and fatigue. Upon examination, she could not find the cause of my symptoms, so she sent me for an MRI which revealed the golf ball sized tumor. Dr. Ying referred me to a colleague of hers, Dr. James K. Liu, from Rutgers Neurological Institute. Dr. Liu removed my tumor 3 weeks later with the help of Dr. Ying. I am forever grateful to them for returning my life to normal. My hearing has improved, I am no longer dizzy or unbalanced and the extreme fatigue I was experiencing is gone! Dr. Ying is very patient and personable. She takes the time to help you understand what is going on and offers sound suggestions on how to improve your situation!

No, I will not recommend this doctor. I came in sick. Nobody took my vitals. The doctor did not explain what she is going to do. She performed her examination and tried to clean the injured area that caused too much pain. She repeated the procedure three times. As a patient in pain, the doctor should diminished or decreased the pain felt by the patient. This doctor did not do anything and add more injury to the illness. Then prescribed a $ 292.00 medication.

I was referred to Dr. Ying by another doctor and had a very positive experience. Dr. Ying is a true professional, who takes time to explain every little detail and walk you through the entire surgery & recovery process. I have never felt rushed like with other doctors. Dr. Ying is very professional and respects your time. She is ready to go above and beyond. My surgery was very successful and I am happy with the results. I would recommend Dr. Ying as one of the best specialists in Otology & Neurology areas.

Dr. Ying brought back my quality of life!!! In 2020 was diagnosed with one sided deafness and was told that the only option that would help my hearing again was cochlear implant surgery! I decided to go ahead with surgery with Dr. Ying and I am so happy I made this choice! I'm an anxious person, so deciding to go ahead with surgery, especially when I didn't know what the outcome would be, was very stressful. Dr. Ying is very attentive to my hearing needs as I have profound high frequency hearing loss and wearing hearing aids. She sees me once a year ensuring that my hearing is stable. Wearing hearing aids cause a build up of fluid in my ears which she removes by sucking means. She is very gentle and always makes sure that my hearing is well. She works closely with the audiologist to make sure that my overall hearing is taking care of.

She is very knowledgeable and professional. She made me feel completely comfortable to have the surgery. It has now been 18 months since the surgery and follow-up. My daughter, 15 years old, had a partial hearing loss on right ear and we visited Dr. Ying, referred for another ENT specialist. As soon as she consulted us we felt confident and follow her instruction, got information about procedures and options and we went for surgery with excellent results. Great professional and very precise on her diagnosis, when you visit her be ready to spend sometime on waiting room but it is worthy, this lady is an amazing doctor.

I had an unfortunate experience and needed tympanoplasty. After seeing a local ENT, I was referred to Dr. Ying as "the" doctor she would go to in a similar situation. Tympanoplasty is about a 4 hour operation from what I am told. From the start I was comfortable with Dr. Ying. She explained the surgery clearly and was patient, and available to me as I waited for a clearance in my schedule for surgery. The surgical experience was professional and my procedure was successful. I like Dr. Ying because she listens and takes the time to ensure you are comfortable and informed. I could have connected with a surgeon closer to my home, but she was worth the drive to Rutgers-Newark and is on the teaching staff of the medical school.

I lost a significant part of my hearing and I was referred to Dr. Mary Ying. It was decided that I would benefit from a hearing implant. She and her team worked with me to figure out what would work best for me. I decided to go with a Bonebride Bone Conduction Implant made by Med-El. My life has forever been changed. I can hear. Today, I happily visited my best surgeon and my ENT specialist for a follow up visit. Yes, I waited for how many hours but I always understand. My doctor has a lot of patients. I’m not only her patient. What I like about Dr. Ying is that she is very appreciative to the comments and she’s very warm to me. I loved her since from the first day I met with her. Best Dr. I have ever met, very caring, dedicated to patients concerns, listens very attentive what every patients needs to tell. She is an excellent surgeon very caring with great follow up. My daughter's hearing improved almost 100% after surgery. My family and I never forget the care she took to bring my daughter hearing back.

Very caring, I had been to several other doctors, who neither diagnosed, were curious of the history of the condition or followed up with treatment. Dr. Ying prescribed treatment which is a work in progress, and is actually rectifying the condition, which has existed for three years. Thank You DR.

Because I've had Meniere's Disease for quite some time, it's not easy to find a doctor who has experience in this area. Dr. Ying listened to me, diagnosed my issue and I was able to get relief from my lightheadedness and dizzy spells. She knew what to do. I would highly recommend her!

My son has been going to Dr. Ying for years and she has always been professional, polite and willing to take the time to explain and answer my questions. My son, normally hesitant with doctors, is very comfortable with Dr. Ying.

Excellent doctor. Dr. Ying has a great bedside manner, takes multiple factors into consideration, and discusses treatment options in easily understandable language. She also has a good sense of humor.

Dr Ying is an all around great doctor and surgeon ,she is smart, great and kind . Wish all my doctors were like her .My daughter recently had a surgery performed by Dr Ying and she did an excellent job from the pre-operation consultation to the actual surgery to the post-op follow-ups, especially in terms of making sure I understood the reasons for doing the surgery, what it would accomplish and specifics of the procedure.
