Dr. Adam John Opbroek

Sat on a virtual call with our Daughter for 5 minutes...ask a few questions... collect $200. Joke!!!

Dr. Opbroek is nothing short of amazing. He knew my whole life instantly. Impossible to bullshit this man. But only accept his help if you are ready for the unvarnished truth delivered with the power of an Uzi. He knew things about me that I didn't realize until he pointed them out. I've received such substandard treatment that the only reason I decided to see him was his residency and the prestige of the mental health research at the University of Arizona, Tucson. Want to be healed of your mental illness or at least significantly mitigate its symptoms? Make an appointment, answer truthfully and immediately do as he says. I assure you that you will not be disappointed. The Zen master of psychiatry I kid you not.

Psychiatrist Dr. Adam Opbroek was a Terrific Psychiatrist! He never accused me of doing anything wrong. He was always caring and very attentive to me meeting my goals. He treated me with Adderall for ADHD and a low dose antipsychotic for schizophrenia. A 3 mg tab of Risperdal. Those were the good ole days. Then he was offered a job he couldn't refuse and resigned from COPE COMMUNITY SERVICES a mental health clinic in Tucson, Arizona paid for by Medicaid. When Dr. Opbroek resigned Psychiatrist Dr. Richard Barnes took over and he was just as caring as Dr. Opbroek. Unfortunately a few years later Dr. Barnes resigned too. The new Psychiatrist refused to prescribe me Adderall. I got an Accounting Degree on Adderall. I needed it for my homework and I needed it for my work. They took the Adderall away from me and my life went downhill.

He tells you one thing and tells people something totally different. He ruined my life by breaking his word. What you tell him is not private. He won't even tell me what I supposedly have done to warrant such 2 faced-ness. I have asked for a reason and he is gutless in his lack of response. It wasn't my appt. but he still broke trust, I was in an appt. and he then turned around and messed up my words when he asked ME a question. I would not recommend any person to go see him.

He's in it strictly for the cash. He doesn't appear to give a damn about his patients. Very short appointment; checks his time frequently. Hustles you out the door. Don't waste your time.

This man is awful! I went from a caring MD to him - a robot. Argumentative, classic "God complex". He is the WORST ever, thank goodness he is moving out of the state. Best of luck to them!

Appointment is only 15 minutes long. If you're 5 minutes late, your appointment is now only 10 minutes. No exceptions.
