Review of Dr. Ackerman I received a blood test results in November 2020. I called the office and told the office that my heart enzymes were elevated and if that was a concern. I emailed and I faxed my results to the doctors office. I never heard back from the doctor’s office I had an appointment January 26, 2021. I had to go to the hospital on 1/24/21. The doctor told me I was OK I ended up in the hospital three days later with cardiomyopathy. I felt like Dr. Ackerman was completely Unprepared and his exam was not very thorough. While I was in the hospital, I was taken care of by his partner Dr. Pollock who in my opinion was more Competent; However, when I was released from the hospital the staff person that called me was extremely condescending and arrogant. Best doctor ever!! Love how he listens and takes his time with his patients!!

I received a blood test results in November 2020. I called the office and told the office that my heart enzymes were elevated and if that was a concern. Awesome. He’s been our family cardiology Dr. for more than 8 years. He’s an cardiology Dr. of integrity ,honesty ,caring ,kind and very professional he doesn’t rush through the appointment he listens to his patients and any area where A need to be adjusted in medication he Takes his time to explain why the changes. Dr. Ackerman makes the patient feel at ease and calm he’s very knowledge and polite and his professional. His staff is also very courtesy. The front Desk and nurse their professionalism is great, also the office is very nice and clean. I recommend this Dr.Alan Ackerman.

The most patient and caring Dr. I have encountered. I felt that Dr. Ackermann understood my issues, ordered the appropriate tests, and gave me the solution that I needed to improve and resolve my issue. I would highly recommend Dr. Ackermann for your Cardiovascular needs.

During this time of Covid-19, I was especially pleased to see how well prepared they were to ensure the safety of patients and employees. They immediately sanitized my hands and there was no other patients in the waiting room. I sat down and within 5 minutes I was taken to the examination room. Dr. Ackermann's assistant was fantastic. She took my vital signs and set me up for an EKG. She was professional, pleasant and efficient. She went over my medications, leaving all the information for Dr Ackermann to see. Dr. Ackermann is as fine a person as he is a doctor. He will take all the time necessary to take care of you. He is continually updating his knowledge of medications. He is the Ultimate Professional. He takes the time to actually LIsten to you. If after leaving his office, you realize you forgot to tell him something, you can easily contact him through MY Chart Messaging. I highly recommend him Dr. Ackermann to anyone seeking Professional, Competent and Friendly Healthcare.

I am very happy with my first appointment with Dr. Ackerman.

For the past 4 years he has been my primary doctor and has been an amazing person as well as an extraordinary dr. After my ER visit, he was on top of the exams and making sure that I was ok even after everything was fine. We all need a caring dr that goes beyond just a visit

Dr. Ackerman is an amazing human being first.. You can see his absolute passion for being a Physician. He was so patient kind empathetic to my wife... he was fluid in his thorough exam and also friendly as he calmed her down from her skipped beats she was fearful of. We felt relaxed and believe me I am discerning because I am a Doctor Of Physiotherapy and understand what it takes to deal with anxious patients who need to be rassured... happy to find him.. 10 stars Dr. Ackerman.. If you are looking for the best cardiologist and doctor in general, Its Dr Ackerman. I`ve seen so many so i can tell with the absolute confidence, he is my favourite. Here is why: Unlike other doctors he will dedicate as much time as you need to listen to you, ask and answer your questions, look and discuss you tests and explain his train of thoughts. Very compassionate, understanding. Even knowing i have anxiety , he never ever says its all in my head, but rather explains how sympathetic nervous system work. Very happy with my experience! On day before Thanksgiving I called office, re: a high heart rate.I was immediately called back to come right away; Upon arrival, An EKG was performed confirming an arrhythmia. Dr. A immediately sent me to the ER where I was met within ten minutes of being prepped. He did everything to ensure that I would not have to be admitted for the holiday ensuring I was stable to be discharged.I've had many doctors and there are very few that make you feel important and special like Dr Ackerman does.

Extraordinary cardiologist....kind, caring, listens, explains, presents options and supremely compentant and knowledgeable- can't ask for more than that.

As good as it gets. Always responds to all my questions and is extremely accurate and attentive to everything.

Excellent Doctor, take his time to listen very carefully his patients..

We are in the 90's year old. He treats us like his parents. So kind, so affable, compassionate always makes jokes and comments on his favorite sport teams. In times of dire need, he is always there. He is never in a hurry, has all the time to listen to your complaints. I wish all my family had him as their Cardiologist.

I WOULD RECOMMEND, DR ACKERMANN, TO START OFF I WILL QUICKLY SAY THAT HE MAKES U FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE, HE LISTENS TO WHAT U HAVE TO SAY, HE WILL EXPLAIN THE BEST OPTIONS TO TAKE, ALL BY LISTENING TO YOUR QUESTIONS, AND FEAR,S HE IS SIMPLY WONDERFUL.
