The staff at GMN are friendly, professional, efficient, and I have had a great experience thus far with Dr. Bell. He has a great bedside manner -- professional, friendly, calm and thoughtful. He invites shared decision making and I trust his input and recommendations.

Worked to find a solution that worked for me after suffering repetitive migraines for many years only mildly treated by other providers. Dr Bell persisted until my perfect solution was found

Dr. Bell replaced my previous neurologist of 30+ years and basically listened carefully to me who has a very unusual condition and am very educated on the topic. He spent at least 40 minutes on my first visit with him. No rush! He continued my unusual medication prescriptions from my previous neurologist.

visited a.j.Bell for an eeg and emg in '14. Eeg was performed by his tech/assistant, she explained the procedure prior and with testing smoothly concluded informed me the dr. would be in shortly to do the emg. With the personality of a house plant ajb entered, sat, grabbed my hand and started poking my hand/finger. I was not familiar with the process of the test and shame on me for not doing any research, but l almost came out of my shoes with the surprise initial jolt/pin-like prick! i cannot recall his response to this exactly but it was definitely not one of concern. Uncertain why no explanation of procedure or reasoning of no forewarning, bad day-overworked-mind elsewhere? just a squirrely part two of the testing. test results confirmed all, but definitely haven't and won't be visiting again

I Have been a patient of Dr. Bell's for longer than I want to admit. I never left that office without feeling better than when I went in. He is kind, understanding, very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and shows great passion for those of us suffering from debilitating headaches.

Dr. Bell is an amazing doctor. He was the only one to be able to diagnose, listen, understand and explain my condition to me clearly, and in terms I understand. He gives superb advise on what to watch out for, and is staff is very attentive.

Can't even be seen when the only way get the LUMP ON MY HEAD IS TO BE EXAMINED IN PERSON..... WHAT A JOKE. I am not trusting a telehealth appointment for A CYST/LUMP on the back of my head.

Great neurologist

Parents have been patients of Dr Bell for 2O+ yrs combined. Fruitless attempts to get his office to work effectively and efficiently on their behalf with their insurance company, to no avail. Endless excuses untruths and finger pointing, shows total lack of respect or concern, for their well being. Absolutely no accountability from his medical assistant, who has been hostile and unprofessional when attempting to get answers! Inexcusable. Ultimately, a reflection on Dr Bell.

Great staff. Been seeing Dr Bell for 15yrs.

During Covid, had to cancel my apt. with this Doctor. However did get a 5 minute phone call from him. Wanted to know what the NeuroSurgeon said, and asked about my upcoming cruise. He did bill my Insurance Co for $332.40 and expected me to pay for a co-pay of $450 I have no intentions of paying for this. Have spoke to the billing dept. twice, and also had written to explain my situation. Anyone else had this experience with Covid?

Although I like Dr Bell and his expertise, the communication system is horrible. When I call, I feel as if I am playing a bingo game with the phone. Press 8, press 4, press 2 for ohh whatever. When I call to make an appointment, or call for a question regarding a reaction to a medication, I do not want to decide what number suits my need. I am all for the personal touch of a human answering the phone, even if I am put on hold. This could cause me to leave the practice. The world has become automated and I am aware of the changes, but when dealing with MY health or concerns, I do not expect this reception. I just lost my whole review..long story short, they allowed me to suffer in pain for weeks. I believe they lied to me quite a few times..he never had my records or notes sent over. He told me to go elsewhere due to his mistake. I told him what he could treat me with, along with some other forms of advice. I'm not the doctor, he is, he should of known this stuff. I hope I can save someone else from the pain and heartache I went through..the whole practice is a nightmare, 3 ring circus. It all starts from the HEAD!! Dr. Bell is a wonderful doctor with a warm heart for his patients. I’ve been blessed with him for over 30 years!

Brought my daughter here when she was suffering from migraines. No neurological exam. Asked if the MRI was normal but didn’t ask to see notes or scan. He’s prescribed numerous meds without speaking to me and explaining them. When I ask his assistant questions she has absolutely no clue. When I leave messages on the voicemail it takes days to a week to hear back. I cannot recommend this facility or doctor. Brought my daughter here when she was suffering from migraines. He was cracking jokes that I felt uncomfortable with him I have indents on my head & he said "oh you have holes in your head & tattoos growing on you" which I really didn't appreciate nor was it funny ..& other jokes & I would never refer him to anyone or go back !

I have seen Dr. Bell several times in the past few years. He has a wonderful bedside manner and takes his time and does not rush you out the door! I highly recommend Dr. Bell to anyone that has any type of neurological disorder!

In the past year I have had two emergency type situations with seizures breaking through medications. Both were grossly mismanaged by Hopedale Neurology. First occurrence was a disastrous 'front office' mess sending me to ER. The second one of yesterday I waited over an hour for an emergency appointment and no one checked up on me sitting in the room. I got disgusted and walked out. Now my appt is Thursday and probably the last one with this org. I do not recommend.

Dr Bell was fantastic- sensitive, witty, clear and empathetic. He took his time with my Dad and engaged my Mom in the meeting.

Excellent care from Dr Bell and his staff.

I have had some major health issues for the past 2-3 years. Each Dr. I went to refered me to another dr. No one took the time to listen to me.... until I saw Dr. Bell. he was a love not only did he take to time to really listen to me but he explained how things work. He took the time to educate me. I was so thankful to find him and I look forwsrd for the 1st time that there is hope in me feeling better

If you have diagnosed with Lyme disease do not go to this Doctor, he will disregard your symptoms, I have numbness in my hands, trouble concentrating, memory loss, fatigue etc. and he schedules a memory test for January of 2017, almost s year away. No test for the numbness in hands which is a huge concern or any other of my symptoms. Some doctors are not educated on Lyme Disease and instead of referring a patient to a doctor who is educated they just disregard your situation. Lyme is real

This Doctor is not educated on Lyme Disease, if you are diagnosed with Lyme Disease, this is not the doctor to see, he will send you on test to try an prove you don't have Lyme even after the blood work clearly shows you do and will disregard your Lyme disease symptoms. NOT A LYME SPECIALIST, do not waste your time, there are other doctors with much more experience with Second to Late Stage Lyme Disease.
