My mom loves him.very caring dr..

I would much rather have a Male doctor to examine me in the future and not a woman doctor. I'm more comfortable with a male doctor. I am very uncomfortable with women doctor looking at my man hood during examination. I would appreciate it for now on a male doctor examin me in the future. Other people may be comfortable with female doctors examining them there. But I'm not ????????????. The visit of this year was very uncomfortable to me in fact it was so uncomfortable to me that I almost left the office. I told the female doctor that it was uncomfortable for me and she told me "it's ok your doing fine ????" I may ask Dr. Blackwell find me another Urology doctor to send me to. I hate to but I'm going to be patient with Dr. McCools office because his a good doctor and I like him. If Dr. McCools office would like to reach out to me please feel free to call me. Great service nice staff

He's a good doctor. While my symptoms or whatever you want to call them wrong with me have not been resolved, he has tried his best to do so.

This urologist definitely does not perform in a professional fashion. He talks 90 mph and you can hardly even get a word in while TRYING to communicate with him. The assistant/nurses seem to be on top of their stuff but the nurse practitioner is not. There's no communications between him and his nurse practitioner. That's very obvious. I've had to call the pharmacist myself and get them to call dr McCool's office to get everything in line. It should have been the other way around. I've had a serious bladder issue for almost a year and all he did was prescribe multiple medications without taking ONE urine sample to see what possibly could be going on. It only took me a couple of visits to realize I needed to find another urologist. It only took one visit at my new urologist to figure out what is going on, and I'm slowly getting better. Wonderful an friendly staff, Dr. McCool is a wonderful doctor an is awesome at what he does,he answers an explains everything very well an makes sure you understand everything that was talked about before you leave!

Dr. McCool’s professionalism, knowledge, and bed side manner were wonderful. My trip in was easy and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Dr. McCool performed an outpatient procedure for me in August of 2017. He and his staff were very professional and took the time to explain what I should expect both during the procedure and during recovery. I highly recommend Dr. McCool based on my experience.

I have seen Dr McCool for several years even when he was Dothan Al. I choose to drive here to Jasper AL for my regular check ups and problems I am having today, he is very knowledgeable and gives correct diagnosis and treatments . He takes time to sit down and discuss your issues. I would highly recommend anyone having urological issues to see him. The office staff was also very prompt and polite. Dr. McCool and his entire staff are AWESOME and go above and beyond to help you. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer 2 years ago and had to have surgery to remove it. Dr. McCool was caring, considerate, and totally there for us! I don’t know if my husband would have been as far along with his recovery without him...... He is constantly encouraging, compassionate and really “Loves” his patients/family. We Love Dr. McCool and are very Thankful he came to Jasper! Dr. McCool did a procedure on my son and everything was absolutely great! He explained everything thoroughly, was patient with all my questions and concerns, and made my son feel comfortable having the procedure. Dr. McCool came highly recommended by friends and family. He preformed a circ revision on our 1 yr old and it was a total success. He took great care to cosmetically make sure that there wouldn't be any issues later in life. His bedside manner helped mommy to stay calm and at ease too! His office's follow up was wonderful as well.

I've had two surgical procedures done by Dr. McCool. Both surgeries were very successful and the after-results were precisely what the doctor told me to expect. Dr. McCool has also treated me for UTIs and kidney stones. He is thorough, knowledgeable and professional. I have and will continue to, highly recommend his services.

Excellent health provider.

Dr is not a good dr.. did procedure with scope in my husband penis. Next day my husband had to be admitted with bad bacteria infection, almost septis.. my perfectly healthy husband
