An excellent psychiatrist who has his patient as his primary focus. I realize that as a forensic psychiatrist he works for either the plaintiff or the defendant in both criminal and civil cases. My attorney engaged Dr. Waldman to interview me and to then determine my mental state when I was charged, wrongly, with a felony. Dr. Waldman helped to clear my name and to make the police and prosecutor as vengeful people who were out to hurt me. I recommend Dr. Waldman without reservation.

Please don't send anyone you love or care for to this person. He is an extremely vulgar organism. He is more interested in proving his own superior intelligence than helping you. He will bully and uses profane name calling directed at his patients. I guess he enjoys thinking that he has some form of power that he undoubtedly didn't have in his younger years when most likely all the kids, especially the girls, ostracized him. I do feel for this poor soul, but I will never go back to him.

I only spoke with this Dr on the phone for 5 minutes but I can tell you that he is extremely rude and non-therapeutic. Though he has not treated me clincally, I knew from our short conversation that it would be a completely frustrating and useless session. I usually give people a break but I've read multiple other reviews that complain of the same behavior so I don't think he was just having a bad day.
