Great hospital and staff! Much more advanced than I thought for a small town.

I unfortunately had to be hospitalized earlier this month. No one likes to be in the hospital, however my care at Pioneer’s Medical Center was phenomenal! I have a complicated medical history, and issues. The staff and doctors were so caring and attentive. I was listened to and treated with dignity and respect. I’ve often been disrespected and treated poorly, and accused of being a addict at other hospitals. It was so refreshing to be not treated that way here. And as a added bonus I was able to find Doctor Krueger and retain him as my doctor. Doctor Krueger is amazing. He listens, doesn’t have a ego and isn’t afraid to look deep into complicated medical conditions. I’m so thankful! It’s truly to bad the doctors and hospital on the other end of Rio Blanco County isn’t this way. I unfortunately had to be hospitalized earlier this month. Dr Krueger stitched up my thumb after I tried to cut it off with a table saw. His bedside manner was great his work was impeccable and even though it was not necessary he is followed up with me more than once. I would definitely give him a 10 out of 10, he's the best doctor I've seen in years.

Very knowledgeable and caring. He told me that earlier on he worked for the VA, so he has direct knowledge of its workings; which is good as I am a veteran. I have seen many doctors in my life and I would rate him as being one of the best I have ever seen. I should say, that I was raised in an upper middle-class family and have had access to some of the best medical that can be offered in the country.
