I rarely give bad reviews and Dr. Barrera is a great doctor. However, the nurse/medical assistant asked me to dress down my one-year-old and the doctor would be in soon. We waited well over 60 minutes to see her. The doctor told me it was normal to wait about 30 minutes to see her. A few days later we arrived 10 minutes later than schedule for my other daughter’s appointment due to having to wait so long a few days prior. The receptionist told us we needed to reschedule our appointment. I guess her time is valuable, but she doesn’t value anyone else’s time. I rarely give bad reviews and Dr. Barrera is a great doctor. We are new to the area. Dr. Barrera was a wonderful source of information about both my children's health and the area. She didn't rush took her time, answered my million questions, took time to connect with each child one on one. Asked questions about their health history and life's in general. She spent about a very long time with us. She didn't make me feel rushed or like she had to move on to another patient. I felt like we where her only patients for the day. I know that isn't accurate.
