Would recommend Dr. Jacob to anyone that likes a good checkup. Came here because my daughter told me she had a good experience. My annual psychical went well and the explanation by the doctor gave me a good look at my health. I’m glad she didn’t give me medicine like most doctors do???? so if you need a good checkup just try the doc. Keep up the good work Doc. ???? Absolutely one of the smartest, nicest and most professional Doctors on Long Island. When I see reviews that reflect Doctor Jacobs in a negative light. My first reaction is to get angry and start writing nasty things about people, to defend Dr.Jacops. Then as I started writing this review. I realized??? Hmmm?? If someone feels the need to give her a bad review? It’s MOST definitely them and not her. If you are honest, upfront as you should be with any Doctor, but ESPECIALLY with Dr. Jacops... She will ALWAYS be nice, but extremely upfront & honest with you in return. I see Doctor Jacobs on a Monthly basis for my MANY health issues. I actually enjoy my time speaking to her during my Monthly reviews about my health. She also actually takes time out of her EXTREMELY busy schedule just to talk about my overall wellbeing about life’s ups and downs. She’s a wonderful Professional Doctor that cares tremendously about all of her Patients, even that Patient that is rude, nasty, demanding and just mean. the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. She refused to release my medical records so that I could have surgery the next day and when it was time for me to renew my prescriptions, of which I had 2 refills, she only refilled one with NO REFILLS. I would not recommend her

Worst doctor ever! Have never been treated this way by anyone before. She is rude and a liar. Makes you waste your time, doesn't try to help you and gives you all the wrong advises. Talks down to you and doesn't follow up. After getting a second and a third opinion from other doctors on multiple occasions, was told by other doctors to change my primary doctor asap because this woman is incompetent. 06/12/18 11:48 AM - Hoping to find a local doctor today in Westbury that I can get to because of my work schedule. My primary care is located in Merrick and I feel I need someone closer to home. Found Dr Aleyamma Jacobs via Google last night and liked what I read about her. Didn’t see anything about her not accepting walk-ins at least what I could find on the internet. So took a chance and went by her 265 Post Ave, Westbury practice. No information on downstairs board either on where in the building she’s located. Called while downstairs to enquire about her accepting new patients. No problem there, she takes my insurance also, but told she doesn’t accept walk-ins, unlike my current MD. So lessoned learned, some practices accept walk-ins, others do not, need to call ahead to make an appointment. Dr. Jacob took time with me , answering all my questions and putting me at ease . Very caring and had good knowledge of medicine. It was also easy to see the Cardiology and Gastroenterology specialists in her office and all doctors working together to improve my health. Her staff was also caring and friendly. Very satisfied with my care and trust her judgement. Highly recommend her to my family and friends.

She failed to pickup on a very serious health condition sooner. By the time she finally let me know about it, the health of the one of my vital organs was in jeopardy. Also the office is outdated. For example, the ekg machine is always malfunctioning!
