Dr. Ali Kilic

I recently had Breast reduction surgery and Dr. Kilic knocked it out of the park! Recovery was a breeze and him and his team were there every step of the way. I knew this surgery was going to be a life changer but never in a million years would I have thought people would ask who did my “implants”.

Thank you Dr. Kilic you did amazing job wit giving me a better quality of life now I’m ready for my next surgery with you

Awful job on my ankle surgery. Will never be able to wear shoes with a back. Flap is so thick and ugly. Could deal with that but from December-Feb , went in for recheck and debriment of non healing wound on flap. Not once did they culture. Complained of throbbing , burning, and pain. Was told that could be addressed later. In February released as it was not a surgical issue, but a wound issue. Heard his PA, on last two visits asking if they needed to do culture. Reply was NO! Told to go to wound clinic off my choice. First visit at wound clinic, a few days after being released, had a bad infection of Staph, MRSA, and another severe bacteria. This is what hinder my healing. Said they could do liposuction to flatten flap. They won’t be doing it! Wish you could see how ugly me leg is. Other doctors, nurses, and home health have told me they have never seen a flap surgery this bad!

He is a wonderful, brilliant and compassionate doctor. He took exemplary care of me. His staff is the best there is. He completed all my surgeries last year. I left with joyful tears. I had a complicated double mastectomy reconstruction surgery that was botched by a surgeon before him. I remember when I first saw him, he told me that he would do his best to repair the damage and he did just that. He made sure I was comfortable and was in no intense pain. It took him 5 years to fix the mess because my body had to rest in between the surgeries for at least a year before surgery could resume and also because there was a lot of damage. He worked diligently and encouraged me at the same time. I will forever be grateful to him and I will never forget Dr. Kilic for as long as I live. UAB plastic surgery is fortunate to have him and I hope they continue to treat him well because they have a hell of a surgeon if they do not know that yet. Dr.Kilic was wonderful! I would recommend him to anyone. He is caring and an awesome surgeon. The entire staff was spectacular!! Thank you Doctor and staff!

I would have chosen zero stars if that option was available. My number one complaint with Dr. Kilic is the horrible scarring left on my back from two incisions that he made. The stitching of my wounds looks like something a third grader would do. DO NOT use this man if you are looking for plastic surgery and are concerned about scarring.

I’m not Danny Williams, I’m his son, Josh. My arm was amputated and Dr. Kilic took care of me. After a complication, he was able to perform a successful frontal flap surgery to solve the problem and add cosmetic value to my arm. All to often people write review's when they are experiencing emotional turmoil, either from a loved one's injury or their own . I find this not to practical and not to objective. My person experience with Dr.Kilic and his staff has been thus far really quite nice . Everyone is friendly,informative and down to earth . I think the main thing folks should remember of any physician (And their staff ! )is these are people,human beings just like you or I and we can all have days where things don't go as smoothly as we'd like to, so please try to be understanding and having a little patience . My appointment was at 3:40 in the afternoon. The staff was polite but the doctor's bedside manner was awful. I went in for a follow up from the ER for a broken hand. He had a very nonchalant attitude about everything that i said and made light of my concerns and my injury. I will definitely not be using him for anything else and will be reporting him. Dr Kilic removed a Lipoma from my arm. The surgery was easy for me. I have had zero pain one week out. Come not be more pleased.

Dr. Kilic is a compassionate, intelligent and outstanding surgeon. He took and is taking exceptional care of me. His staff is AWESOME!!!!. IMHO, he is the best plastic surgeon out there.

Dr Kilic saved my husbands life. Literally. He was not expected to live after being aired to UAB. After a complete Sternectomy due to Sepsis, Dr Kilic performed a pectoral flap on the first attempt that should be in the record books. There was a hole in my husbands chest the size of a large paper plate. it stayed that way for over 2 weeks. Dr Kilic was able to close and have it remained close on the first surgery. He had treated my husband and performed several surgeries since. He is the ONLY physician we feel comfortable performing surgery. No other physicians are comfortable working on him with his history. I cannot stress enough how brilliant Dr Kilic is. We absolutely adore his assistant Iris. His entire staff is wonderful. Dr Kilic saved my husbands life. Literally. My left foot was partially degloved in the Huntsville, AL area in a motorcycle crash. Though our hospital here is very good, there is no one who could save my foot here. The facilities and expertise are just not that common for my type issue. Dr. Kilic and his staff saved my foot and I am now down to just a cane and will be putting that down soon. I will never be an Olympic runner, but I wouldn't anyway..... Dr. Kilic and his staff are all great people! I would recommend them without reservation. I would be remiss if didn't mention, by name, Iris and Catherine. Iris is a P.A. and Catherine is a nurse. Both are AWESOME people!! If you do see Dr. Kilic, ask about Rocky!
