Visited in Providence ER with chest pains. Dr. Bond did an outstanding job taking care of me.

I am not normally one to comment or review anything, but I feel compelled to leave Dr. Bond, and the RN working with her at the time (Casey, I did not catch her last name) at Asante ER a review. I am a professional in my 30’s who has struggled with alcohol abuse, and unfortunately the stigma associated with this issue is great. I entered the ER on my own accord for treatment of potential alcohol withdrawal very ashamed and scared, and Casey and Dr. Bond both treated me with absolute and complete respect, understanding and most importantly, really efficient care. I was so terrified to be in my position, and was really worried that I would be written off, but instead I was treated as a human being with a problem. I could only hope that EVERYONE with addiction issues is treated with the respect and care that I received from these two women, and it profoundly touched me. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Bond, she is an excellent and understanding clinician whom I wish we had more of.
