I am very satisfied with Dr. Gurov as my primary care provider.

I like Dr A Gurov. He spends quality time with me, during my visit.

He provided questions and a physical exam to determine the seriousness of my complaint, and scheduled a test to further evaluate the cause of my complaint.

Dr. Gurov got me the referrals I needed. I was concerned about my urine test and the value I had. I felt that perhaps he should have given me an antibiotic. His nurse said if I had any symptoms to go to the clinic, and for now just to drink more water. I did go to urgent care for a bad chest cold and they took urine and are getting a culture. Hopefully I hear from them soon. I do like him, he is attentive and listens.

Dr. Gurov is a wonderful doctor. When my late mother-in-law moved here years ago, I had no hesitation recommending him, and her health and well-being improved immediately, making her late years safer and more comfortable.

Everyone was extremely nice!

I'm very happy with Dr. Gurov's care. He developed a care plan related to a recent health issue I had (jaundice, suspectedly caused from an over prescription of acetaminophen and other liver stressing medications following hip replacement surgery), in which he addressed the issue with definitive steps to restore my liver function to normal. Am appreciative of the care plan, diagnostic testing he ordered and follow up.

Dr Gurov is a caring & supportive physician that has cared for both my husband and I with all our medical issues for years.

Dr Gruov including his staff are excellent. he's a great listener and more than that he displays the trait of sincere caring about his patients their issues. I'm a strong advocate for my own health as well as I'm into alternative and holistic methods for treating my body. Dr gurov has never opposed or made judgment to my beliefs my way of thinking about taking care of my body. and when he's speaking to you it is never while he's at the keyboard doing data entry. I truly appreciate Dr gurov's manor and method. I'm not a real easy patient mainly because I'm an advocate of my own health and I am also into alternative medicine and holistic methods. Dr gurov has never opposed me on my beliefs or inquiring into non-traditional medicine. he is the first PCP out of five that remains neutral and respects my opinions and we can have a conversation. but my greatest accolade for Dr gurov is that he genuinely cares about his patients their health their well-being, it matters to him. I truly appreciate this trait of his more than anything else.

No lip service from Dr. Gurov! He really listens and asks good questions in health discussions. I find his personality to be patient, aware and open-minded and that's comforting when understanding diagnosis, tests and solutions. He's also far from condescending like some doctors. rather he has a pleasant manner, nice sense of humor, and supports healthy diets. I can always count on him and that's important for me.

This is the worst doctor. He let my mothers condition go without listening to her concerns. Only focusing on an easy condition of sleep apnea that was not the concern. She went to OHSU and they found she had a serious health condition that only progressed due to the maltreatment this doctor provided her. She has only declined since. He allowed this disease to go without even trying to care. When she broke her shoulder afterward, he referred her to urgent care knowing the condition she was diagnosed with. Not once, to this day has his office called to check on her care. That was over 10 months ago. If you want poor care, and lack of knowledge he is the doctor! I found him to be a good listener and anxious to help me with issues. He referred out on issues that needed a specialist and was very thorough when I saw him.

Dr. Gurov is a very good doctor. He really listens and has a lot of knowledge. He is great for helping diagnosing any issues and making sure you are taken care of.

He is one of the kindest and most intelligent doctors that I have ever had. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I just recently read that somebody was extremely upset that he only focused on the sleep apnea of the mother (who was the actual patient). And that the more serious condition (which was never listed) was apparently not addressed even though she went to OHSU (according to the post). What I have learned of Dr. Gurov is that if there's something he's not comfortable with treating, he refers out to a doctor that he believes is more qualified, if that's even possible. I also saw that somebody was upset that he referred out for vaccinations and that it was billed incorrectly. Which is really not fair to rate the doctor on since he is not the secretary or the person doing the billing. He is not responsible for the billing codes that are put out to the insurance companies. He is not the one that controls where you get your shots done so that is awfully unfair to wreck this man's name because you've had an unfortunate situation with someone who is in billing or with the doctor himself who was saying listen I can handle taking care of your mother's sleep apnea but I need to refer her out to an OHSU specialist for her other conditions. If anything you should be grateful that a doctor is not going outside of his own expertise and is instead saying listen, "there is a doctor in Portland who knows more than I do about the condition at hand and I want you to receive the best care from them." I know that these days people want doctors to have the answer for everything under the Sun but that's just not the case and so often we see doctors that are willing to say that they do know everything about everything but that's not possible for any human being so when a doctor says that you need to be referred out just say okay and move on. And for what it's worth to the woman who had the bad experience with her mother I really hope that she is doing well at this point and that the doctors in Portland were able to help her significantly. I just think everybody needs to think twice before trying to destroy a man's career when he's just trying to help people to the best that he's able to and to also send people to who he thinks will be best suited to help their needs. Dr. Gurov is a human being and he doesn't do the constant encouraging for patients to post positive reviews and yet he still has positive reviews which should really say something. Most people who don't encourage positive reviews only end up with negative ones because people all too often are more than happy to point out the negative and yet he still has positive ones. I guess I can understand the woman with the mother who was feeling like there needs to be someone to blame but the man who blamed him for poor vaccination billing is completely out of line and unfair so I hope that gets taken care of. Dr. Gurov has been my personal physician for many years now. When my elderly mother-in-law moved to Medford, I recommended him to her as well. We both have received wonderful care. He is as considerate as he is knowledgeable and always puts patients at ease––even when the news is maybe not so good. My opinion could not be higher because he spotted my own serious cancer before I'd had any inkling of a problem. Six years on, I remain cancer free. He saved my life with kindness and competence!

My husband & I changed doctors within the Providence Med. Group, and since we've started seeing Dr. Gudrov, we've been very satisfied and pleased. He gives his complete attention to his patients. He's thorough and always has a smile. Dr. Gudrov is easy to talk to, and he will answer all questions without rushing his patients.

I m pretty picky on Doctors. I m also a full time in Home Caregiver. My sister is brain damaged. She is unable to verbalize or communicate. When we met with Dr Gurov I was amazed at his skill, his respect for my sister, his thorough examination of her and his kindness with her. He never rushes thru our appts. He is a magnificent physician. The best we have had in twenty one years. I highly recommend Dr. gurov

This Dr is a complete idiot. Dr billed insurance incorrectly. Directed me to health department for vaccines when I should have gotten them there and theey would have been covered by insurance - all I wanted was a physical and this dumb Dr screwed everything up and tried charging hundreds of dollars.

Would never recommend this guy to anyone, if he can be a doctor anyone can. Him and his staff are awful.
