Dr. Alkesh V Patel

Dr. Patel pays attention unlike any doctor I have ever met. He spends time with you, listens and looks you in the eye. He is interested in your family life, your life. No 5 minute appointment with him mostly typing on the computer in his office as other doctors do! He listens to what I think is going on and what I know about my body. He is never dismissive. I have a rare disease that no one else caught except him. He pushed for answers and worried the pulmonologist was wrong (he was). He checks up on patients personally if he thinks it's warranted; especially after surgeries or family trauma. He does not push meds as the answer to everything. I have never had trouble getting an appointment, especially if I am sick. His staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have recommended him to most of my friends and family. They also think he is the best!

Dr patel is an awesome dr...very caring and always there for me when I need him...day or night...the staff is also wonderful...always helpful...I could not ask for a better team to take care of my healthcare needs....Thank you to the entire office from the botgom of my heart!!

Dr. Patel is a friendly, kind atmosphere, very clean and they take you right in. The staff are amazing people and they greet you right when you walk in always smiling and very friendly people. The rooms are clean and the medical staff answers questions right away and always there when you call or have a question. I definitely would recommend going to the office and would send my family and friends here :D

Dr. Patel is a really good doctor, as soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with kindness and friendly atmosphere. Everyone that works there are very nice people and quick to help with any questions and concerns I may have. I recommend Dr. Patel to my family and friends.

Dr. Patel is amazing, I'm so happy to have found him years ago. From Day 1, I have felt truly cared for and looked after. I know my health is in good hands with him. He genuinely listens to my concerns, never ever makes me feel rushed and always evaluates my situation thoroughly. He really is a wonderful doctor and person. His staff is incredible as well - very friendly and kind. I can't recommend them enough honestly - this is the place to go.

Dr. Patel is an amazing Doctor! He has been my Physician for 20 years +. Very informative and is extremely personable. Does not push meds, in fact prefers a more holistic approach. Calls just to check up on me once in a while - what Doctor does that anymore? He also guided me through some very difficult high stressed times in my life. I have been a patient of Dr. Patel for 20 years. Over the past 2 years his staff has consistently been unable to diagnose and treat my illness. The sad part is they didn’t even care when I told them I was switching to a new doctor. I hope Dr. Patel realizes what is happening. Good bye Dr. Patel.

Absolutely awful. They over billed my mother for services she never got. And tricked her into getting even more services she didn’t need ! And are now trying to sue for even more money ! DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

Dr Patel and his team are by far the most unprofessional team of doctors and secretary I am appalled at the service that they could not provide nor the information they could give I've been going to them for at least 7 years and every year they just keep getting worse and worse I highly recommend choosing another doctor or doing your research before coming here especially to this office. If you want to feel like not having your problems answered and just paying more money for office visits were they just tell you the same redundant thing and not try to help then this is your go-to if you feel like being treated like an actual patient then I highly recommend going to another doctor or choosing another doctor stay far away from the Patels and his staff. Dr Patel has been our family Dr and my Uncles before that. He takes care of my parents too. Simply amazing. Always available and happy to step in. Listens to the patient and has been right on target with some more significant issues for some of us.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Patel. We have been with him since he first came to Southington. He is very companionate, understanding & listens to us with our concerns. He is very thorough and if he feels we need a specific test he orders it. We are very satisfied with Dr. Patel’s as our Primary Care Physician.

Great office and practice, always friendly, I've been going for years!

My entire family were once patients at this practice. None of us go there anymore due to numerous issues within the office. Not to mention Dr. Patel’s chairshide manner is extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend him to anyone. If you’re looking for a new doctor, keep looking!!!

Amazing doctor! Have been going been several years.

Dr. Patel has been treating my father for almost a year. Before my dad seen him, his A1C was elevated, hyperlipids and uncontrolled BP. Dr. Patel educated my father on the importance of proper nutrition. He tries his best to take a holistic approach to medicine. My dad and I love him! He truly cares and has a wonderful bedside manner. I cannot say enough good things about this special doctor.

Dr. Patel does not have a professional chair side manner. He will speak over you and not allow you to talk. He is very unprofessional. His primary focus is money oriented. He will try to sell you numerous types of studies that he can perform in his office which are not covered by insurance. I was a patient for 7 years. I missed one appointment and received a letter stating I owed a $50 fee before I could be seen again. Staff is rude and uneducated in their job responsibilities

Dr. Patel is patient, kind and takes time to LISTEN and explain. Excellent bedside manner and committed to helping and healing. I really can't say enough great things about him.

I have been seeing Dr. Patel for over six years! I left my previous Dr. due to poor service. The service here and great Dr. Patel is an amazing Dr. I highly recommend him to all family and friends.

My mom has been a patient of Dr. Patel's for many, many years. Dr. Patel is a wonderful, caring and compassionate doctor. Our family has always been pleased with the level of care that Mom has received from Dr. Patel and his staff. Thank you, Dr. Patel!

This is a terrible practice. Not only are they extremely unreasonable they will attempt to rip you off on your visits and sneak extra expenses into your bills all the time. Make sure to keep up on your receipts as well because for 'some reason' they have trouble doing so and will attempt to charge you twice for a bill you already paid.
