Dr. Aly Cohen

I was able to see Dr. Cohen for a condition I have been experiencing for years. She was able to spend time with me, to fully evaluate my situation and I have never felt better. If you want to truly be "cared" for by a doctor, Dr. Cohen is the one.

Dr. Cohen seemed more interested in selling me expensive vitamins or supplements than in listening and trying to diagnose my problem. She spent a lot of time during our first meeting talking about problems getting a shipment of temperature-sensitive supplements that she sells through her practice. She is not covered by my insurance plan, but it would have been worth the expense if I had felt like she could help me with chronic problems. Instead, I left after the initial hour an a half consultation feeling like she was selling fairy dust. Very disappointing. She was pleasant, but her focus seemed to be elsewhere.

When I first visited Dr. Cohen I had not been feeling well for at least four years. Endless doctors later I was referred to her by a family member who was already a patient. At my first visit I was exhausted and felt so broken and defeated. But it wasn’t just Dr. Aly’s medical advice and thoroughness that saved me; it was her kindness, humanity and willingness to actually listen to me, that gave me the courage and strength to break free from all that was truly making me sick. Through some holistic changes and life changes I was well on my way to recovery. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Cohen!!! I also follow her on Instagram because she posts very valuable and helpful information.

Dr. Cohen is caring and comforting. She is extremely thorough and her presence holds a positive vibe that is more powerful than any prescribed medicines. I love her vitamins and helpful hints, too!

Dr. Cohen leaves no stone unturned and looks to get to the source of your issue and find resolution. She takes all aspects of the individual and their lifestyle and provides awareness and suggestions to a better lifestyle while treating the disease. I can’t say enough about this amazing doctor except I’m happy she’s in my corner.

Dr. Cohen literally saved my life back in 2011. She gave me a proper diagnosis within 24 hours after I’d been to two other “specialists “ and they misdiagnosed me for three months.

Dr. Aly Cohen shows concern for her patients by listening, taking notes, and offering advice. She takes into account the patient’s overall health, not just rheumatology. I especially like that she’s an MD, but also an Integrative doctor. She responds to emails and text messages even when she’s not working in her office.

By the time I was referred to Aly Cohen, she was my 10th doctor on my health care team. It was through a doctor, then a nutritionist, that I got her name. I have ceased treatment with all but two of my doctors, and wouldn't give up Dr. Cohen for anything even though I now live 600 miles away. On the professional side, Dr. Cohen knows exactly what questions to ask, what to test, and how to use those results to diagnose and treat. She is brutally honest (be prepared - she will tell you what you need to hear), open, and caring for her patients. Caring = she actually listens to what you are telling her, not just superficially. She really listens and thinks about my treatment through the conversations we have. More importantly, if you want, she will explain why she is asking you to do something or what the results may tell her about your disease. On the personal side, she is real person, not a doctor in an aesthetic white coat. Dr. Cohen is FANTASTIC!

Dr. Cohen has been wonderful. I was diagnosed a year and half ago with RA at age 70. I have learned a great deal from Dr. Cohen about the nutrition and dietary needs related to my illness. She is extremely knowledgeable and very willing to share her knowledge. I am very grateful for her support. Office is conveniently located on the outskirts of downtown Princeton and office staff is very competent.

Dr. Cohen is an incredible diagnostician. My husband is an a physician and I travel over an hour to work with her. I have gone from a life of pain and frustration to an active lifestyle with hope for health. You will need to pay cash but my insurance and most will rebate you before your credit card bill even comes. If you are struggling with day to day activities you need to visit with Dr. Cohen, she will figure it out WITH you and recovery is around the corner.

Excellent doc, listens well to what my back issues are. Doesn't want to immediately put me on meds. Great interaction with the staff as well, Mindy was very helpful up front.

The Dr. checks my hands and legs for inflammation and can identify problem areas that may require a combination of treatment methods to minimize my pain. Dr Cohen is amazing I had severe back pain where I couldn’t even move or go to work, she found were the muscles were pinching my nerves and fixed me right up . It’s been over a month pain free. I also love her views and input on the needless toxins we can avoid in everyday life
