Dr. Amanda L Horton

Amanda was great throughout my entire pregnancy until she wouldn't return my phone calls after leaving me a voicemail after my ultrasound during covid. (They did ultrasound in office and doctor called after the appointment at unspecified time to discuss the ultrasound results). All I wanted to know was whether or not she recommended that I get induced at exactly 39 weeks or if I had through the end of my 39th week to get induced. I almost lost my baby because she wrote me off and didn't return my phone calls. I even called the office manager to see if I could get a call back. The nurse who was speaking on her behalf made up excuses as to why she couldn't call me back and even lied about the doctor calling me. I would call this medical neglect. I would've given her 5 stars up until her true colors came out at the end.

She may be well qualified but she is extremely rude. She acts like she is bigger than anyone else but why does that matter to us patients when she can’t talk respectfully. Not satisfied at all. Will not recommend to anyone.

I ‘saw’ Dr. Horton, remotely, in the Marble Falls location. I was skeptical at first, due to only communicating with her via computer/phone, but it turned out to be a great experience. She is super sweet and genuinely showed interest in my reason for being under her care. I felt like my needs, questions, and concerns were always met and she always called me after every appointment to explain my ultrasounds if I couldn’t see her via tele-health. I highly recommend Dr. Horton for any pre-natal needs.

We were looking forward to this appointment because the clinic’s website said I could bring in someone essential. I was sad when my husband couldn’t come with me. Obviously understandable websites can’t be updated in the quickly changing COVID landscape, but make sure to call and ask if this is your expectation. The appointment turned out to be boring. The TV was far away so hard to see what’s going on and very little was explained while the measurements were taken. Due to the baby’s position, we have to go back and do it again for a measurement they couldn’t get.

Dr. Horton was fantastic! She explained everything in perfect detail, and I walked away feeling calm and confident about my pregnancy. Highly recommend her and her amazing staff!

Dr. Horton is the expert you want to see during your pregnancy. She takes the time to ensure you understand complicated medical results and all your options. I am very appreciative of her time and compassionate interaction.

Wow. What a compassionate and brilliant doctor. We had a long and fascinating conversation in which it became evident to me that Dr. Harden is an expert in her field and an all-around great person. It is a treat to be cared for by such capable staff. Highly recommend Austin fetal medicine!

On time and on top of your health care! I was not disappointed one bit with any aspect of my visit. Dr. Horton is so nice and easy to communicate with, she will help you understand and answer any concerns you have. Love her!

The staff are very welcoming and they don’t rush you. Everyone I came in contact with was so helpful explained everything they were doing in detail. As a first time mother I was content with the fact that they answered all the questions I had. Doctor Horton further explained everything, made me feel very comfortable. She gave great recommendations as far as vaccinations and what I’m supposed to be up to date with as a pregnant women. I would definitely highly recommend Dr. Horton.

I took my wife on October 2, 2017 for a pregnancy ultrasound to check the baby's development as indicated by her doctor. They performed an ultrasound on her abdomen to take the baby measurements, they said they would have to wait for the baby to turn around to finish the procedure, after about 10 min the lady told us that she would have to do a transvaginal scan so she could finish with the procedure since the baby did not turn around. We said it was ok, what we didn't know is that this would do

Dr. Horton and her staff provided exceptional care (exactly what it states on their business cards!). Each person we encountered was courteous, professional, and showed genuine interest. We were made to feel very comfortable and informed throughout the process. Dr. Horton herself was wonderful to work with. We were very blessed to not have any complications, but she still took time to provide any explanations and was very patient and attentive to our older son's questions and interest. Thank You

Each encounter with Dr. Horton is a pleasure. The joy she has talking about the upcoming birth if my baby is expressed each visit and I can tell she genuinely cares. This is my second pregnancy with Dr. Horton and I would definitely rec come nd her to family and friends!

Dr. Horton is simply the best. I'm now on my third pregnancy working with her - one successful, one that miscarried, and one to be determined (but coming along nicely). She was kind and professional in good times and bad, and really made a point of listening to me and customizing my care accordingly. Wouldn't dream of seeing someone else ... and you shouldn't either!

I had a great experience with dr Horton when I was pregnant .The best doctor In Austin for fetal medicine . So friendly interacts and explains very well.
