Mrs. Ami Lynn Riegel

I was quite excited to be able to see Ami as I really need it trauma therapy. I had two other counselors also trying to get me appointments with her and I understand things are very busy right now. I was then told that because they saw my ex-boyfriend for a short time (the last time being at least five months ago) and he is in a statemental hospital for homicidal tendencies they're not interested in seeing me. Apparently they are judging me strictly on what this man has said about me and are not willing to offer me the treatment that I need. She went so far as to ask one of my other counselors well can you GUARANTEE she will make all her appointments? I have been calling repeatedly trying to get help and they have now said they're not interested in helping me. It would be a conflict of interest. I'm not sure exactly how that would be so unless there is an unknown connection between her and my ex.

I’ve been with Ami for many years and she has always been understanding, caring, empathetic and she listens to what you’re saying. If you want someone that genuinely cares, she is the one to see.

Beware. Do your research when choosing a qualified counselor for your specific case. After careful review of Ami's therapy notes by a truly qualified psychologist with training in forensic psychology it was determined that Ami had broken multiple standards of practice. Ami failed to properly delve into family history and surrounding circumstances to give a proper and professional diagnoses. Her bias mindset does not allow her to see the entire scope of the situation and destroys innocent minds!

Ami is amazing! She is the only person I can open up to and confide in. She is very professional and kind. She always does her best to help with anything I throw at her that I might need answered. I give a 150% recommendation!

EMDR was excellent and helped a lot, but then scheduling became difficult and I was unable to get another appointment. Still waiting for a response to my last message request for an appointment, though I stated that I was in distress and urgently needed a session. Not great for some one with abandonment issues!

Ami is awesome... Helped me a lot. I 100% recommend her.

She's fundamentally brilliant! I kid you not, I must have been to 50 different counselors in my life and she is the only one I experience positive results with. Highly recommended, you won't regret it!
