Dr. Amir A Hassan

Tried to get an appointment, was told to get my Insurance card and call back...I told her I could get my card if she gave me a second. She said okay then immediately let me know my second was up. I'll be seeing someone else

I have been going to Dr. Hassen for 10 years and I don’t agree with much of the Negative issues. The Dr. office wait time has always been an issue with any doctors but if the Dr. is great and knows what he is doing then I don’t have problem waiting. I changed 3 doctors before I went to Dr. Hassen and my Trig and Blood sugar has been under control and hid knowledge of new medication and side effects are another important point for me that makes waiting worth it. Honestly, I have never waited more than 30 minuets to an Hour to see him and I see him at least four times a year. Good guy. Very knowledgeable. Listens to you. His office is very busy however. So be patient.

DR Amir Hassan is a very caring and knowledgeable physician he is my husbands doctor and we have been with him for a number of years. I would recommend him with out any hesitation at all. The office staff is very helpful and easy to work with.

Best doctor ever. I’m seeing Dr. Hassan for 9 years. I never need to explain anything because he already knew. I was in very bad situation and he gave me the second life.

Dr. Hassan is a wonderful person, he helped me with my thyroid issues. He was my 2nd opinion doctor. As my first doctor wanted to get rid of my thyroid with radiation. I'm so glad I found Dr. Hassan he is very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions.

For the last fifteen years, Dr. Amir Hasan treats my wife and today she is very healthy. His office staff is absolutely friendly.very neat and clean facility

After going to some horrible doctor's amd making my thyriod problem worse i quit going all together. But my general doctor referred me to Dr. Amir. Not only did he get my levels under control but my meds have been cut down and visit. I'm feeling much better bc of this doctor and he had great sense of humor and bedside manners. ????

Dr is pretty good but the office is horrible! Changed doctors just because of that.. rude!!

Best Doctor ever

Best doctor and staff!

Saw Dr Hassan for the first time a few weeks ago for treatment of my type 2 diabetes. I was nervous because I've yet to find an endocrinologist that listened to me and didn't make me feel bad about myself. I was pleasantly surprised that I love this Dr and feel so much better about my diabetes care plan. There was a short wait but nothing to long an the staff was friendly. The woman at the front desk has a horrible attitude, and would rather take her personal phone calls and complete them in full length, then help the patient/customer. Also once she finally does talk to you, she's just as rude as she looks.

I have been his patient for Eight years , never had a problem. Dr. Hassan and his staff have always been very professional and compassionate. never more than an hour wait. and if so i would wait as long as it takes.

Totally fixed my thyroid medication after another doctor messed it up.

Love Dr. Hassan, left him 3 yrs. ago to have all my Dr's with UTMB, was not happy with their team, had to come back to Dr. Hassan. I've been Type 1 30yrs. and he's been great. His staff is always helpful and friendly. Never have to wait long to see him or book an appt. When I didn't have insurance he would always give me insulin if I needed it.

Waited over an hour, saw many other patients bumped ahead of me. Poor office management.

Dr. Hassan is knowledgeable but his bedside manner is lacking. I have decided to move to another practice.

After spending 2 years with another doctor just shooting myself with more and more insulin with getting nowhere near good results, in one day Dr. Hassan had me under control with oral medication. Can't believe I wasted so much time. Thank you Dr. Hassan.

I will rate this a zero star if i could. The staff has no respect for patients. They are insensitive and don't care about patients.

Be prepared to wait an hour to hour & a half AFTER your appointment time before you are called back from the waiting room. This has been my experience the last three visits. The doctor also seems to be somewhat dismissive of concerns and skims the test results quickly.

My 20 yard daughter was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.. He was recommended to us from a friend.. I found him to be very in tune to her needs and understanding of our concerns.. He got her in a regimen of diet exercise and medicine and she is a new person ., she is away in college and has had question and has had help with those needs through his staff.
