Had been to Dr. K before and my second time in did not disappoint! Prompt, courteous and professional but not stilted. Very down to earth and friendly, staff included. Patient for life!

Dr. Knickerbocker is very professional and knowledgeable. She also took time to adjust my prescription from another optometrist perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with her care. I highly recommend her!

Great experience

I had been to another location last year that I wasn't happy with. At that time I just brought my prescription in & bought my glasses from Walmart Vision. Everyone so so helpful & went way beyond helping me. When it came time to have my eyes checked this year, I didn't want to go anywhere else! Amy was AMAZING! Explained everything she was doing & was professional & kind. I needed extra testing, due to medication I'm on & she went above expectations. There will be no other place or Dr. I will go to again! I just Recently went to Dr. Amy Knickerbocker after I had been to another optometrist and got the worst examination I’ve ever experienced. Dr. Knickerbocker took time and throughly examined my eyes and she found that the cataract in both eyes were needed to be removed. She referred me to a surgeon and I returned approximately 4-5 weeks post surgery and took an eye exam and the prescription she has set them up for was astonishing the best I’ve seen in years!!! I would recommend her and her staff which took time to get the best option for my needs in a new frame!!! Dr. Knickerbocker is super sweet, good with kids, delightful, and informative. Reasonable prices and very helpful in contact fitting.

Amy is very complete in her exam, very pleasant and quick to answer any questions.

I would highly recommend her to any one with any vision problems. She is very personal very easy to understand very knowledgeable with rare eye diseases that other optical drs. did not know about. I will definitely be a return patient.

I took my 9 year old son to Dr. Knickerbocker on 12/9. She was very patient and kind. She kept telling my son what a good kid he was and how awesome he is. My son communicated very well with her and really liked the time she took with him. She is awesome and would strongly recommend a visit to her for all of your eye Care needs!!

Great Doctor and staff highly recommend . Great service.

I accidentally forgot my glasses on top of the car. Once I realized they were not in their usual location, my face, I panicked and said, we gotta back there. My driver friend raced the speed limit back to find my glasses had been mercilessly mangled. Finished.. In my despair, I called Walmart Vision Center in Hannibal, Mo. I was greeted by the most delightful voice. I could hear her smile. I described what had happened then braced myself for the worst. She said however, "We can get you in this afternoon." Could this be true I reasoned? Then the confirmation came, "See you in a few hours," Upon arriving, I was welcomed by friendly smiles and thoughtful instruction in an Informal yet trendy atmosphere. I filled out some basic information forms. Next I was whisked away for exam. Dr Amy is an absolute pro! She conducted an exam that was unique, personable, and humorous as well. She covered every aspect of my vision issues, touched on options available for each, and taught me new things along the way. Next I was off to frames and fitting. The technician showed patience and poise as I chose new frames. She offered helpful tips, modern trends, and fitting options that led me to the ideal frames. Finally we chose the best lenses for me and we were finished! Did that just really happen? I pinched myself....Ouch...Indeed it did! Applause applause to the gals at WVC! Follow Up: 1 week later and new glasses arrived right on time! The technician again welcomed me in, and had me perfectly fitted and back to my day in a few minutes. Talk about a home run! Thanks WVC! We were oot and I experienced an eye issue. We already go to an eye doc at a local Walmart so we searched for one where we were. Dr Knickerbocker office was able to work me in and after exam was able to reassure me of my situation and send me on my way. The entire staff was friendly, personable and professional. Absolutely loved Dr. Knickerbocker! Wonderful sense of humor, very thorough, explained her findings. I'm very nervous about eye exams after a couple of bad experiences. Dr. Knickerbocker put me at ease. The contacts she fitted me with are the best I have had in years. The tech out front was also very helpful, getting the best deal for us on my contacts and new glasses lenses. I love my old frames but the vision center I bought them from wanted me to buy new frames every year and it was a battle keeping them. I had no problem here using my old frames! Much appreciated! Dr. Knickerbocker is extremely well knowledge. Her bedside manner among the best of any Dr. I have ever visited! I always recommend her to anyone who asks. She is always worth the 30 minute drive. Get assistant Lela was excellent and very friendly as well.

The staff were professional, friendly and extremely sanitary with is important in these dangerous times. But when Dr. Knickerbocker entered I received the best, most comfortable eye exam I've ever had. That's really saying something as I began wearing glasses at 6 years old. At 60 I've exam many times. When I discussed the time to invest in glasses at Walmart my cornea specialist Dr. Sieck just beamed about how wonderful Dr. Knickerbocker was recommending her with the highest praise. Even that wasn't enough to prepare me for the personable, truly caring, thorough and almost loving care Dr. Knickerbocker took with me. We talked an laughed throughout the entire exan. I felt like a 4 year old comfortable and trusting in the hands of a wonderful woman and staff that reflects her caring process with their patients. I can't recommend Dr. Knickerbocker high enough! Friendly and helpful staff from the moment you walk in. Dr. Knickerbocker took extra time and worked with me to ensure that I got the best possible outcome with my contact lenses. I have been to other eye doctors and don't feel like I got that extra care and attention that she gave me. I highly recommend Dr. Knickerbocker!

Dr Knickerbocker is a very knowledgeable eye doctor. More than 5 years ago I was looking for an eyecare professional and I saw Dr Knickerbocker's name so I called for an appointment. My glasses and contact lenses were fit perfectly. I thought wow! I didn't know i could see so well! Dr Knickerbocker has a plan to fit every unique eyecare need. I broke my only pair of eye glasses on Saturday, called Monday and had an appointment Wednesday. Dr. Knickerbocker was easy to talk to, explained everything. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone! Purely positive experience.

When I couldn't find any eye Drs in Illinois, I called Hannibal, Mo Walmart vision. I was scheduled to see her 3 days later. And I love to call and be seen right away. Too much time lapsing between appointments, means, I'm looking for another Dr. I like my visits to be affordable, I want to know the price ahead of time. When I inquired Amy Knickerbocker about accepting Medicaid the tone of her voice became judgemental sounding.

I went to Dr. Knickerbocker this last month, it was my first time seeing her. She was very detailed with the eye exam and I didn't feel rushed at all. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a new doctor.
