My mother and me are not have such a great experience with Dr Nance. My mother is as of write now a medical mystery, no one seems to know what going on. She see three doctors as it is but Dr Nance hasn't been a real help as of recently, four weeks a go my mom iron started to drop so we started iron transfusion again for the third time. It still keeps dropping and my mom been having symptoms of iron deficiency and as the weeks go by the iron infusions have not been helping and Dr Nance kept saying we're waiting on digestive disease get the answers. No instead of calling them herself she made mom call instead, which it would've been easier if easier for Dr Nance to do so. While my mother was getting her iron infusions today her iron was a 7.7 and she told us a couple of weeks ago that if it was a 7 she needed a blood transfusion to help her. But Dr Nance told the nurse to tell my mom make a appointment for next Friday to see if she'll still a blood transfusion and when we're talking to the check out lady she walked by us twice and didn't speak to us or the check out lady and ducked her head we saw to avoid us. She also talked down to my mom and me last week because my mom symptoms were getting worse and was not very kind, she has no bed side manners. Dr Nance is not a good doctor and I hope someone else feels the same way as my mom and me do because she not acting like a good doctor. Dr. Nance has been responsible for my great results with my myeloma and overall health. A real comfort and asset to my recovery. Awesome!

Failed to do/follow up on basic labs related to my treatment. After spending almost a month in the hospital she told me that I was dying from my cancer. She became upset with me because I refused to go into hospice care. She then told me/ my family that I needed to find a clinical trial because the treatment was not working. I sought out another facility for clinical trial treatment and was told I was not a candidate for clinical trial because I had shown progress with my treatment. I was told at that visit what the possible problem was and after follow up labs was found to be suffering from a side effect from treatment that was manageable with steroids. Prior to this Dr. Nance was asked by my family for steroids and was told by her that steroids would reverse my treatment. I have since been told by multiple physicians that steroids reversing treatment was a myth. I found out an my next appointment with my mew oncologist that I was cancer free.
