Dr. Ananthakrishnan Ramani

I was Dr Ramani patient close to 15+ years. Once he went to Albany medical center he put me in a clinic of which he goes only once a month. I got upset because he has another practice or office where he sees other patients daily. Why did he do this to me? I had so much redo for this man and even after he let me down this doctor was a 5 star doctor with a exceptional bedside manner. He also explained everything. I would call 2 weeks ahead of time for refill. Then it went down to a week and called again. Then 2 days I would call In somewhat of a panic and his nurse at clinic even said she left many messages. Some of these meds you couldn’t stop abruptly. Then for the first time ever he yells at me a 54 year old man about calling. What does a patient do when they don’t prescribe a med or meds within 1-2 days? He deserves to be where he is. I would still rate him as the best doctor I ever had. I have a doctor now but I’m not happy lately but he is a great DR.. but I guess that’s life.

Dr. Ramani was excellent when my wife was very ill with a tick borne disease. He was able to do an accurate diagnosis and recommend the correct antibiotic. He was very supportive and concerned to make sure she got better. We think he saved her life.

Wonderful Pleasant Doctor. Really Cares And Takes His Time With You.

Went to Dr Ramani for 20 years. Best Doctor I ever had. Now he has left the practice I have no Doctor. I called a few Drs but no one is taking patients I have a variety of illnesses I need to find a doctor in the Greene county area. Any suggestions???I’m desperate

I had a consistently terrible experience at Dr. Ramni's office. He did not listen when I told him the bloodwork that he wanted to be performed had already been done, and hurried me out of the office although there were no other patients either before or after me. Similarly, I had to call the office four times to get the results of this bloodwork, being dismissed every time I called. I was shocked at how unprofessional both Dr. Ramani and his staff were.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ramani for about 20 years, mostly as a primary care doctor and when I do have other ailments. He is so pleasurable to be around. When I leave his office I feel mentally better because as he listens to my problems and has a way of helping me. I do give him a hard time about certain things and he handles it very well. I actually can joke around and be honest with him. I would never want to lose him as a doctor. He is excellent!!

Dr. Ramani saved my life!!!! I was so ill with Lyme Disease and had been misdiagnosed numerous times until I saw this fantastic doctor!!!!!

Dr. Ramani has been my doctor for 30 plus years now. Over the years, he has come to know my family as well as me. Dr Ramani has always been friendly & professional with my care & issues presented to him. He takes the time to explain blood work results with me. He takes his time with you listening & explaining things and doesn't rush you in and out like some doctors do.

Always get an excellent service and help needed. They always answer the phone and answer my questions. Paula is very helpfull and a very sweet lady, and Dr Ramani is a very proffesional and friendly doctor.

I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for Dr. Ramani. Dr. Ramani is very knowledgeable in his field of medicine. Dr. Ramani is compassionate, and exemplifies a high degree of professionalism. He took the time to address my care and needs in a way that made me feel comfortable and put my mind at ease. I feel very fortunate to have met him and his staff and to have had him as my physician. Dr. Ramani is a good man and a great Doctor.

The worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. He did not know what was wrong with me and was rude and humiliating. He tried to make me take anti depressants. When should an infectious disease Doctor prescribe strong anti depressants for a patient? He told me I looked like I was ready to throw the towel in!

All my visit with my doctor very good he is caring and understanding I would rate him 100%
