Very good physician. Responsive.

As a patient for about 20 yrs., I can honestly say this doctor's care has turned into little more than a joke. All he does is take notes and shows little regard for his patients or being proactive in basic care. When ill, his office calls back hours or days later and tells you to go to urgent care or the emergency room.

Dr. Ganeles is a exceptional PCP. He listens to his patients and spends as much time as needed. I have never felt rushed during a visit. I had a medical issue while traveling in another state and he helped me on a Friday night, after normal hours, to get an emergency prescription filled. I sought medical help and was received by Dr. Ganeles at the end of December of 2020. I had absolutely weird symptoms at the end of the last year, so my right leg started hurting, and I felt as if it weighed hundreds of pounds as if all my blood concentrated in the leg. It was accompanied with a strange rash on the skin, on both legs. During the exam, the doctor was listening to me very carefully, but smiled all the time, and I am not sure why it was so funny. He told me I was a very healthy man based on the general blood test. He turned down all my concerns and worries, and told me that if the rash repeats to send him photographs next time. The symptoms reappeared in 2-3 weeks after the initial visit, and I sent him the photographs of the rash, but he never responded to my emails. Later I found out he had charged my insurance company $350 or so for the visit. How could you treat people like numbers and only focus on money? Dr. Ganeles is a fantastic PCP. He’s thoughtful, kind, and minimally uses a computer during appointments. Highly recommended to all.

In my search for a new PCP Dr Ganeles was recommended by a friend, I called his office and spoke with the receptionist about becoming a new patient, she asked for records to be sent over and that she would be in touch shortly to set up an appointment. Over the next few months I called the office and left messages asking for a call back, I did not receive a response to two voicemails and an email. I finally got lucky and the receptionist picked up the phone and said she will talk with the doctor and call back with an appointment. That evening I got an email from the doctor stating that he reviewed my medical history that i sent over and did not see a reason for me to have an appointment for at least year. Some how from reading my recent blood work he said "it seems that you are looking for a different kind of doctor and that he doesn't think his practice would be a good fit for me"... I can not leave a review to how good or bad the doctor is in respect to competence or knowledge but I can say from experience... arrogant and very unprofessional. Dr. Ganeles has a wonderful bedside manner. As a new patient, he really takes the time to learn your health history. There will certainly be a long wait in the waiting room, while he's helping another patient, but you can be sure that he'll spend the necessary time with you as well. I like that he has his own practice and isn't part of a large medical group that rushes their patients in and out, just to make a huge profit. Dr. Ganeles has a wonderful bedside manner. Fantastic primary care doctor. Great bedside manner, and makes you feel very comfortable. Will be going here for years to come.

This doctor is old school, and excellent! Takes the time to sit and discuss health issues. Five stars earned!

We absolutely love Doctor Ganeles! (My husband and myself) We are moving to Chicago and we are going to miss him and Alison , his secretary very much! It has always been easy to schedule, takes his time to listen to whatever problem you have, the office is clean, overall it has always been a great experience!!!

What a kind, caring gentleman Dr. Ganeles is. His probing questions about your medical condition hone in like a laser to determine solutions. His demeanor relaxes you, he is never rushed....a true physician of the old school. I feel so fortunate that I found him.
