Dr. Andrew M Marlowe

I called and asked for a appointment and was told that he didn't accept Medicaid when in his ad it clearly states that he does and when asked if they tell me of someone who does participates in the plan they told me that they couldn't help me!!!

My doctor referred me to Marlowe/mars and said they would call me for an appt. No one ever called. So much for office personnel. Perhaps I’ll run into them at the hospital and I’ll let them know their office staff is inefficient.

I have to say that Dr. Marlowe is the best! But then everyone goes to him and it makes it hard to get an appointment! I day this in jest. He and his staff (shout out to Elizabeth) are the best. He has been my ENT for years. I wouldn't go any where else.

You will never find a more caring and responsive physician than Dr. Andrew Marlowe. He didn't know me from Adam yet took me right in and stopped a heavy nosebleed that had me breathing through my mouth for close to 24 hours and wondering if that was the way it would all end. Kudos to a doctor's doctor!

Called and set up an appointment with a 4 week waiting list, willing to wait it out based off the reviews - despite the hearing loss and tinnitus I was experiencing from chronic ear infections. I was scheduled to see the provider on the 23rd of December, received a call 3 days prior informing me the provider would be out the entire week and no appointments available well into the new year - AFTER A FOUR WEEK wait - right before the holidays. If the dr is going on holiday vacation, don’t schedule patients! I’m now back at square one searching, and waiting, for a specialist. Had a great experience leading up and through my nasal procedure. To prep for the procedure 4 cotton balls soaked in a numbing agent were placed up each nostril and were then removed before Dr.Marlow began. 6 days post procedure while blowing my nose one of the cotton balls had been left in my nose and became dislodged. I returned the cotton ball to the P.A. Rachel, who confirmed it was a cotton ball, during my follow up appointment. She examined the cotton ball and prescribed antibiotics. Today a front desk staff member called to confirm that it was a "dissolvable object" and continued to argue with me about it over two different phone calls. I know what a cotton ball looks like, as does his P.A. who confirmed and apologized profusely for it or being accident left in my sinus cavity. Terrible experience with the office staff. It would have just been better to acknowledge the mistake. Will not recommend to anyone ever again.

Dr Marlowe and Maars, as well as the staff, are outstanding!! As a RN, I’m very particular of doctors and their practice- this one “checked all my boxes!” My mom had 2 ENT urgent needs and both times ( first time as a new patient) they were able to get her in the same day!! The friendly staff were so helpful and efficient. Both physicians were equally professional and were quick to diagnose her problem as were as treat. They took time to explain her aftercare as well as reiterated to call if any concerns. I was so impressed with this practice! Hats off to the office manager for running a great practice!! Called just after 8:00 AM for an appt for a very painful double ear infection. After waiting 2 hours for a return call from scheduler Sandy, she told me the only appt I could have was in 6 weeks. I asked about the daily emergency appointments listed on the website; Sandy said a painful infection isn't an emergency. It sure is an emergency if you are the one in severe pain all weekend! Sandy asked, "do you want an appt in six weeks or not?" Their callous, indifferent attitude towards someone suffering was shocking to me. I am speaking for my husband Dwayne Hendricks. He went to Dr Marlowe approximately a year plus Dr Marlowe kept saying try this try that do these drops do that drops always come back. My husband continually asked about a surgery to help clear up his sinus cavity. Dr Marlowe did not care about treating the actual problem with my husband. All he wanted was a career patient from my husband. We have since gone to another doctor he's been helped in less than three months. Rude. The doctor is not a people person and neither are his staff. The girls were just as unfriendly as Dr. Marlowe (aside from the lady at the front window). SO overpriced for sticking something down my nose and telling me exactly what I already told him the issue was. Doctors don't like it when you already know what's wrong with you, so when I told him the issues and why I knew I was having them, he disagreed with me from the beginning, only to run some tests and say I had EXACTLY what I said I had. Waited 6 weeks for Dr. Marlowe's next available appointment for a new patient. Finally get there and am seen by his PA!!! I could have seen here the day I called!! Spoke with Office staff, very rude and very incompetent in doing there job...Making the Physician lose patients. Left several voice msgs for the appt coordinator no call back since March, also emailed them for an appt. NO RESPOND. Spoke with the office manager defending her staff but ignoring the patients needs. Office manager was so rude and said will not schedule an appt for me and I will make sure the Dr Marlow will not see me! Took my father in law here to have doctor look at his ears. The doctor is great. On his last visit the nurse practitioner was ruff cleaning his ears. We are making sure he sees the doctor from now on.

I lost hearing in my left ear on a Friday. I went to Venice Hospital Emergency on Saturday morning, but found no answers. I was very anxious for answers. On the following Monday, I searched for Eye, Nose and Throat (Otolaryngologist) Doctor. I called five and only Dr. Marlowe found the time to see me that day and within an hour. The visit included an audio test followed by a consultation. I was diagnosed with a nerve damaged ear and Dr. Marlowe set forth an aggressive recovery plan with medications and an ordered MRI. I thanked Dr. Marlowe for seeing me so quickly. He said that these situations require quick action if there is any hope of recovery for this condition, which is only 50% at best.

He has been helping me for 2+ years with Meniere's Disease. He is THE best doctor I've ever had. I trust his judgement and knowledge. His bedside manner is impeccable. His staff is nice and responsive. These are true professionals and nice human beings too!

Can’t say if the Dr is any good - made an appointment - have phone record to prove it!. Showed up and they have no record of an apoointment for me. Doe not give me any confidence in this practice.

First appt met my expectations. Effecient, patient, friendly, knowledgable and professional. Documentation was easy and spot on. Filling out my Med history was easiest I have ever done. Finding the office is a piece of cake. They supplied me with google directions on the appt notification.

I was treated with care and did not feel rushed in my appointment. I was in a tremendous amount of pain, and taken very good care of. I've continued to see Dr. Marlowe over the last few weeks. Well if you haven’t been seen in 3 years you are considered a new patient - ok that’s fine however even though I’ve been battling an ear infection for over a month now and my primary has sent me to an ENT immediately - he can’t see me for 3 months ! I guess I’ll have to go to the ER - so much for it being off season.!! I would think they should have some kind of emergency or stand by list for a severe problem !

Dr. Marlowe clearly explained our options and the results of those choices. Extremely attentive to us and our needs and concerns throughout the entire procedure. He is a very warm professional who I feel truly cares about his patients. I have and will continue to recommend him. His sense of humor is delightful and at the same time calming.

An overall great experience, from office staff and hearing aid specialist to Dr. Marlowe. Best ENT experience I've had since moving to Florida 19 years ago.

Dr. Marlowe asks excellent questions. He is like an "investigator," before he makes a diagnosis. If you have been referred to him by your regular physician, he provides written feedback to the referring physician. He uses a computer to record the details of the visit. He reads the patient's medical history with confidence and alacrity. I think Dr Marlowe is an outstanding ENT physician.

This particular ENT office is probably one of the busiest in town. I have been to this office three time and it’s always hectic but somehow the staff always seems to navigate this effortlessly. The staff is kind, attentive, and very effective at what they do. Dr Marlowe is a very experienced Physician and knows his stuff. I never feel rushed with him, he asks a lot of questions, always listens, and very attentive. I love his no nonsense approach. I would easily recommend to any friend or family.

Didn't get the chance to visit. Was a former patient of Dr. Marlowe and he was excellent. I moved away in 2012 and just moved back in January. I've been seeing another ENT in Venice since he is within 5 minutes of work, but am in need of a second opinion as I have been battling a sinus infection since mid December. Unfortunately, for me that is, Dr. Marlowe's practice is doing very well, good for him. However, they can not see me until mid May...I need immediate help.

The nurse was great and Dr. Marlowe, after a thorough exam, explained what was going on and I left the office much happier then when I came in. Always a good thing.

Dr. Marlowe is a very personable physician who clearly likes helping his patients. He is very thorough in his exams and is not one to push surgery upon his clients. If a procedure is called for, Dr. Marlowe is very clear as to what needs to be done and why.

Our visit was great! We were called back within minutes and the doctor spent a lot of time with us.
