He actually has been the surgeon for not only me, but also my son and husband. We all needed shoulder surgery and we all have done very well under his excellent care. Our visits never feel rushed and he takes the time to answer all questions and concerns. I highly recommend him.

Absolutely terrible. Went to see him after having hip pain for a year. I had a positive FABER/FADIR test and a labral tear confirmed on both MRI and Ultrasound. I’m the kind of patient that pulls my records before I see the surgeon, so I read the MRI reports that said I had a labral tear. I also work in medical imaging and could very clearly see a labral tear on the US. My mind was blown when I went back to Dr. Rogers to hear his options and he told me my labrum looks perfect. And that there was nothing he could do for my pain. Maybe I shouldn’t squat anymore… mind you I’m only 27. Needless to say, found a surgeon and ended up having a femoral osteoplasty, acetabular rim trim, labral repair, and capsular closure three months ago. I’ve been working with my PT who has had several patients of Dr. Rogers that had similar stories to me. Oh, did I mention they’re all female? If you’re not a male athlete, don’t bother going to him. Don’t waste your time.

Dr. Rogers is a professional with a bed-side manner rivaling any Orthopedist. He has skills in history taking and physical examination. His analysis of the problem shows experience and judgment. He is a physician's physician.

Dr Rogers took the time to explain what was wrong with my knee. I felt that he had a caring attitude. Very knowledgeable. Down to earth and easy to talk to.

Had a second opinion with Dr. Rogers for ongoing pain following hip surgery somewhere else. The first appointment went well, he had great bedside manner and was a pleasure, recommending surgery. I’m not sure what happened, but when I saw him again it was a disaster. He told me “labral tears don’t hurt”, based on his own experience, and was basically talking me out of surgery. I’m not sure how someone with this approach is promoted to a position where they lead the hip preservation team. After my last visit, I saw someone else for a third opinion, who immediately looked at my 2.5 year old MRI (that Dr. Rogers didn’t need to order because he’s... confident), and immediately identified a labral tear. I moved forward with hip arthroscopy with the other doctor, requiring a labral reconstruction. The new doctor was surprised at the condition of my hip for someone of my age, but not surprised about the amount of pain I was in, which Dr. Rogers dismissed. Stay away from this guy.

Dr. Rogers warmly greeted me upon arrival and took the time to assess my injury, explain the next steps, and answer my questions. He was friendly, professional, and competent.

Dr Rogers explains everything so it is easy to understand and if he can't help you he gives you help finding someone who can.

Dr. Roger’s is wonderful! Very thorough & explains things in a way you understand & gives examples. I‘m very pleased with the results of my shoulder surgery! His PA Lauren is great & very thorough as well. I would highly recommend him & his staff.

I couldn’t recommend this Dr more. He repaired my torn rotator cuff. At 12 weeks post-op I have zero pain, full functionality of my arm and shoulder. My physical therapist cannot believe how advanced I am- so much so that she no longer feels it necessary to continue with PT.

Dealt mainly with Dr. Rogers nurse practitioner, Deanna. She was wonderfully knowledgeable and truly competent. She explained everything in detail with great patience. My knee has not felt so good in years!
