Absolutely terribly bedside manner. Rude and very judge mental. I waited an hour and half to see her. I was there for a follow up of a rash I had the previous year and she was asking personal questions that were not even related to my problem. She made me very uncomfortable and I would not recommend her to anyone! Made some very rude remarks and lectured me on totally unnecessary issues. She had a male medical student in the room and did not even ask if I was ok with having him in their while she took my gown down in front of him. I have been a patient at children’s and Northwestern since 1991 and have never been this dissatisfied with my care.

Yes this is true the wait time is so very long. I waited for two hours. She likes to ask questions about your perosnal life that does not pertain to dermatolgy and is quite judgmental and rude in her opinions. While you havent asked her for one since you are there for your skin. Overall not a good dr or experience. Would not recommend and from other comments yes time to retire. She is also descriminating people who dont have a certain insurance.

Dr. Laumann is patient, experienced, and very nice doctor. During my last visit, I have 4 different skin issues and was pregnant so she spend almost one hour with me to look into all of my skin issues carefully and gave me a lot of great suggestion and detailed instructions of how to take care of those skin issues during pregnancy (this may explain why she is late for some appointments since she cares about her patients and wants to put her time and effort to help each patient).

I understand that patients sometimes have long waits, but when she sees you she will take as long as needed with you and not give you another appointment for a biopsy, but do it then. She will answer mail promptly on mychart. She has even called me at home with info. I am a senior also, so maybe I relate better with Dr. Laumann than a young person with a job and time constraints. She may not be the doctor for you, but I like her.

Never recommending this doctor. She is horrid and treats you in a very condescending way.

Long wait and the Doctor was not prepared for the appointment. I will not see her again.

I had an appointment at 330 pm and arrived 20 minutes early and checked in. Not only did the office realize they never checked me in properly and I would have to wait extra 30 minutes they told someone else in front of me because of this she would have to wait longer. Once I got in room I waited over an hour never got an update and just left. Never saw the doctor.

Dr. Laumann is absolutely the worst! Do NOT make an appointment with her unless you want to wait in the room freezing in your gown for hours. I had an appointment today (6/27/17) at 10am and waited until 11:12 only to finally get dressed and leave. Patients have jobs too and our time is also valuable. What other industry expects their customers to wait for them for hours. Plus, I was only have a body check so the actual appointment would have lasted maybe 10 minutes.

I waited 2 hours to see Dr. Laumann and finally I had to leave. When I complained to Dr. Laumans nurse, he told me that Dr. Laumann is always running very behind. It is rude and a waste of patients time. I will not go back to Dr. Laumann in the future.

The worst Dr. experience I have ever had. I have great respect for all Drs. and understand emergencies taking precedence. However, this is a dermatology practice -- not OB or urgent care. Waited over 1.5 hours to see the Dr. who did not even know my chart and then proceeded to explain that I had to wait because there were sick patients before me -- I was apparently not sick enough for basic courtesy. Arrogant and condescending.
