Dr. Anne-Marie Lee

For the love of God stay away from her. I believe she had a mental breakdown while treating me. After nearly 4 years of care she said she had never treated me. Allina refused to accept my complaints and concerns. The nurse said it was the "other Ann Marie Lee, at the same address". I provided an invoice and check remittance for the previous visit that want in the computer and they refused to fix it. The whole Allina hospital in Buffalo, Mn should be closed for the betterment of humanity and public safety.

I was a patient of Dr. Lee's for several years before she moved to a different clinic too far away, otherwise I would still be seeing her for my thyroid and other metabolic concerns. She is a highly intelligent and listens to what you have to say. I saw five different endocrinologists before I met Dr. Lee, as none of them listened to me when I complained my symptoms were still very "moderate". Dr. Lee listened and treated my condition based on what I described my concerns about my body and metabolic challenges.. Dr. Lee was willing to "go outside" the proverbial box when it came to adjusting my medication dosage even if my labs were outside the "normal" lab values. She did not treat my symptoms based She based my treatment on my specific metabolic needs.

Very intelligent and caring. She spends the time necessary to get a positive treatment plan in place and follows up to make sure outcomes are correct

Dr Lee didn't remember me or review my notes on my follow up visit. It wasn't until we were about 1/4 of the way in that I realized she thought I was an initial patient. I continued on with mulitple labs until my results were where they needed to be....and then once we finalized my Rx.....it was done for the wrong dose. Only because I questioned it did I end up with the right dosage. I do NOT recommend.

Stay away. After nearly 4 years of treatment, at least 2 visits a year, she tells me she has never seen or treated me. While holding 4 years of prescriptions her nurse tells me that she apparently has a doppelganger next door. Been trying to file complaints for almost a year and the hospital will not respond.

Very poor dr. Doesn't know how to control blood glucose levels. Patient at Abbott northwestern hospital.

Yes Dr. Lee is rushed, but we find it to be how the appointments are scheduled and it is not really her fault. They need to schedule her more time with each patient. Sometimes, she gets to moving to fast with her thoughts and gets a little jumbled she gets to having to many thoughts at the same time, then she talks to fast. Trying to care for her patients is important to her. Just remember to please be patient. We are all worried about our health I believe she is too. Rumor has it we may be losing her, then what. Those of us that have a history with her will have to start ALL OVER! What a pain that will be. That doctor might not be as caring as she is.

Wonderful doctor - changed my medication to fix my problem. My other doctor missed it for years.

I would not recommend Dr. Ann Lee. She is too rushed, and, in fact, forgot she had already seen me and got me mixed up with another patient. Also, a nurse made a mistake in my TSH levels. Considering that is how an endocrinologist determines treatment, they should be more careful. I had to wait over a half an hour to see her, only to be rushed and recommended a radical treatment. She also prescribed blood pressure medication and didn't recheck with the PA did. Another mistake.Would not recommend.
