Anthony Jerome Porter

Dr Porter correctly diagnosed and treated me for acute dermatitis and skin cancer. His treatment was very effective, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a dermatologist. Great staff, short wait time, caring and efficient professionals.

Aside from going annually for my skin cancer check, I recently had an area of cancer on my right shoulder that Dr. Porter performed an excision. Dr. Porter is a true professional and runs a very good office. I would recommend his services to anyone seeking to get a one-on-one with the actual dermatologist.

Dr. Porter has been very good at catching my skin cancers and treating them promptly. I went to another dermatologist at one point and had to go back 4 times before they got clean borders around the skin cancer. Dr. Porter and his staff are very caring and polite.

My husband and I have been going to Dr Porter for about 6 years--very pleased with Dr Porter. Also a great office staff!

Appointment was at 2:30, sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before being brought back. No one acknowledged us during our long wait and no one even bothered to apologize for us having to wait so long. The doctor spent Approximately 5 minutes with my son examining his problem and left without giving an opportunity to ask questions. Just threw a prescription at us instead of discussing causes or any alternative Treatments or preventive measures. We will be seeking Treatment elsewhere.

I have been going to Dr. Porter for 5+ yrs. so I think I know him quite well to write this review. I was in severe agony with eczema. Dr. Porter was the 9th MD, yes 9th MD I went to. I came with a beach bag full of ointments, lotions, compounds, etc.from another Derm practice.I was even previously misdiagnosed. I am forever grateful to him, for his understanding and patience with me. If you're looking for a "competent" Derm MD, he is the man! Stafff is great. Special thanks to Vivian & Gayland!

Please research this Dr. before allowing a diagnoses. He is not concerned with his patients health and more focused on quantity than quality. So when you wind up in the waiting room for more than 1.5 hours you will see this as more and more patients line up in the waiting room. He did not diagnose me accurately it was more of a guess on his part without research or even a ultrasound or mri. Be careful of this Doctor.

I went twice to see this doctor. I got the last appointment, so I guess everyone wanted to leave. I wait for almost two hour. I rude nurse asking me like 50 questions never even look at me. I saw him for 10 mins.The second time the doctor saw me for 5 mins and he was focus on leaving. A couple days after I found it i was pregnant . so i called the office on Friday, because i was under lotion and pill. Finally i got an answer on Wednesday, after calling every day several times per day.

Dr. Porter is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of skin care. I have been seeing him since he opened his own practice. I would highly recommend him over ANY other demotologist in the area.
