I wanted an real eye doctor with a M.D. not an optometrist , an O.D., that never went to medical school and can’t do surgery. Dr. Ravin is patient, kind, and explains things clearly. She did her residency at Bascom Palmer which is consistently rated as the best eye surgery residency in the U.S. She did cataract surgery on my neighbor and he was over the moon happy. Five stars.

I waited for over a month for an appointment. Her office made sure they had my insurance information, sent me confirmation of the appointment, but they did not let me know they had no authorization code for the visit. So, when I went to the appointment, I was not allowed to see the doctor. There are very good reasons why doctors and the medical system have an increasingly bad reputation. When they aren't narcissists, they're money hungry and only concerned about the bottom line, their pocketbook. Their patients so called "healthcare" consistently comes last. The mediocrity of her staff cannot be overstated. Definitely not recommended.

I have a rare eye disorder and have been seeing Dr Ravin for over 4 years since I moved back to Fla. I LOVE her ....she's great!

I am writing this review as a uncle of a patient , that is being treated by Dr. Ravin. I felt that it is important , that Dr. Ravin and her medical staff receive the acknowledgement that they deserve. My niece was going blind in one eye and Dr, Ravin with her expertise and exceptional medical team were able to save her eyesight . Thank you , Dr.Ravin and your outstanding and caring staff.

I am not blind because Dr. Ravin saved my eyesight! One year ago exactly, I was told I was going to lose my sight. Dr. Ravin was tenacious in my care and was constantly thinking out of the box. She never gave up on me or wrote me off. She personally would call me, had me come in to the office on Christmas Eve, New Years Day, after hours, she made herself available at all times. Who does that? Dr. Ravin that is who!!! One of her many great attributes is she reached out to all her associates and got them involve in my care, and they all were so concern about me! I am sobbing right now because I am writing this without glasses on, that is so amazing. Everyone was wonderful, front desk, check out, medical assistants, billing (yes even billing who were willing to work with my bill!). THANK YOU ALL! Happy New Year 2021, it will be for me because I could SEE.

Dr. Ravin performed eyelid surgery and cataract surgery on me. She is extremely competent, knowledgeable, and caring. She listens to your concerns and never seems to rush through your appointment. I consider her the best in our area and have recommended her to several friends.

I learned about Dr Ravin from a coworker who like me has macular degeneration. Dr Ravin performed cataract surgery and my friend was extremely satisfied. I also have macular degeneration in one eye and was told by my eye doctor I was in need of cataract surgery. My eye Dr suggested Dr Ravin. He said with this type of surgery, the outcome depends on the surgeon and he ranks Dr. Ravin as one of the top eye surgeons in Brevard county. Before surgery my glasses were extremely thick because I've been wearing glasses since second grade. So at the age of 62 I had thick glasses and cataracts on top of macular degeneration in one eye. Not a pretty look. After surgery, I see better than I have in decades in spite of the macular degeneration. I told Dr Ravin distance vision was a priority and was very happy to use glasses for reading in order to get the distance vision. I am so happy with the results that I can not stop smiling. It is so wonderful to see so clearly AND feel attractive again.

When I was looking for a Ophthalmologist to go to, I was concerned with how much negative feedback I was seeing for all doctors in the area. Dr. Ravin was my pick and I as so very grateful... She was wonderful, through and had a few suggestions for dye eyes. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a competent and nice eye doctor.

Dr. Ravin has been an answer to my every need and willingly stepped in with an emergency that occurred with my daughter as well. She is not only extremely competent but genuinely caring and informative. The rest of her staff follows suit and I always feel in the best of care during my now regular visits. I have complete trust in her expertise, appreciation for her informative practices, and the depth of her extensive knowledge. Thank goodness our community has a masterful opthalmogist.

Dr. Ravin is an asset to the Ophthalmology profession, she is personable and an excellent surgeon, I would highly recommend her.

One of only two eye surgeons in the community who did their residency at Bascom Palmer eye institute, the #1 rated eye surgery residency program as rated by U.S. News and World Report, Dr. Ravin has amazing credentials, great bedside manner, and is patient and kind. I will never go anywhere else for eye care.
