Dr. Archna N Sharma

My father had a routine colonoscopy done by Archna, which lead to him having emergency surgery due to a 2" tear in the soft tissue of the wall of the colon by the instrument she used for the procedure. Archna put my fathers life at risk, in a matter of minutes she changed is life forever. He will never the the same, he may even die from the surgery he had done. I do not recommend having any routine procedure done by this women. She do not deserve the one star, but I had to select it to post my thoughts. If she has any remorse, she can offer to pay for all his medical bills related her actions.

Not a good doctor at all. She will have you keep coming back as many times as possible to collect that insurance money and never help you with what's wrong with you. Better to go find a doctor in lubbock or somewhere else

I was sent to Dr Sharma after pleading with my PC to believe my pain. He sent me to 3 random specialists. I arrived crying, in pain & nobody finding a problem so far. Dr Sharma promised she’d figure out what was wrong, though I had zero gastrointestinal symptoms (her specialty). Within 3 days she diagnosed me with Cancer & got me in to see an Oncologist in Lubbock the next day. Come to find out I was stage 4 Multiple Myeloma with 2 weeks to live w/o treatment. She went above & beyond to help me & find my diagnosis. She didn’t have to, it had nothing to do with her specialty. When I came in to hear the news, she was so sweet & personally took my son to get a drink & snack to help the situation. I was given 1-3yrs to POSSIBLY live with treatments. If it weren’t for Dr Sharma I would have died within two weeks. Instead it’s 9 years later & I’m still fighting cancer, living & now my kids are grown! I thank her enabling me to be a mother & the time to raise my boys. I trust her 100%!

Dr. Archana Sharma is very thorough always goes above and beyond . The only Doctor I truly trust and appreciate her honest opinion and diagnosis .

Dr Archna Sharma is an excellent doctor, however she is hamstrung by an overloaded or possibly uncaring staff. Patients are unable to call the staff to schedule an appointment or ask a nurse a question. You have to leave a message and wait sometimes days for anyone to call back. I waited two weeks for a surgical referrel and ended up doing it myself. Dr Sharma is great but her staff is horrendous and non-functioning. Go somewhere else if you can.

Very nice experience. We got all the answers for the questions we ask. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Extremely incompetent. I had a Nissen Fundolplication Sugery for my hiatal hernia and GERD back in the early 2000's. When I mentioned it to her (someone wtih over 20 years of expereince), she said she didn't know what that was. Really? Just how curent are you Dr. Sharma? I won't be back. Scary....

I feel that she is no computing with her degree she chose whom she what to treat for hpc I doubt she would get a good review from her. Her hub is ok and very respectful any way she all this area has. Not good I spent 1000 of dollars here with no response
