my 21 year old son is a recovering addict in need a primary care Dr. He went to the first visit and felt that Dr. Patel did not listen to him and seemed suspicious of my son . He was disrespectful to my son about his condition and his prescription for a non addictive mood stabilizer . I would not recommend this Dr. To anyone young or anyone with addiction issues. Terrible experience to be treated this way by a Dr.

Amazing, very caring

Dr. Patel is very popular with his older, aging patients. He seems more suited for them as he only treats your symptoms and not the cause. When I was having severe reactions to being overly medicated, he prescribed anti-depressants instead of listening to my concerns. Although appointments are easily made and accommodated, I've spent a long time waiting in his exam room, sometimes an hour or more. Then his receptionist will come in and interrupt with questions for the doctor.

Very rude staff. Horrible first impression. I don't feel as though they take the younger clients seriously. I have a liver tumor (diagnosed 6 years ago) and he did not show any interest in this matter, what so ever. I will find a doctor to perform an mri on my benign tumor. Not going here again.

Dr Patel is a very caring, competent and compassionate internist. He takes the time to listen to the patient's concerns. Dr Patel always returns phone calls promptly. Dr Patel actually comes to my house because my 88 year old mother has difficulty walking. His expertise, patience and kindness is hard to find today in medicine. I highly recommend Dr A Patel.
