Dr. Atif has been my doctor for years. He sees my whole family. I absolutely love him. He cares about his patients. Doesn’t ever over prescribe medications. He honestly is one of the few good ones left. If your ever really sick and can’t wait for an appointment go see Dr A. He has two locations Johnson City and Jonesborough. Horrible place to seek medical treatment. Take this warning and keep looking for a real doctor, who will help you.

A scheduled appointment for a blood work check up should not have me in the office over an hour after office hours. 2 hours of waiting for what is essentially a 2 minute long appointment. Super unprofessional doctors offices. I do like the doctors they are wonderful but the wait time is astronomically out of proportion.

Great place for service, quick appointments and complete care from simple med help, med refills, full bloodwork all the way through to hospice. Doctor is on hand when needed and has great nurses backing him up that really care about the patients.

I've been going to Dr. Atyia for 3 yesterday now and his great. He cares about his costumers his been a dr for over 22 years. He takes care of his patients. He has a quite sturn personality but thats just the way he is and it dont bother me people come in many different packages. Once you get use to him you just get thats just how he is.

Dr. Bryant was a horrible, unprofessional doctor. But I would take that over what is going on now.

This place is awful. I have asked my sons doctor for a referral for a ENT 3x (had to ask 2x for the referral to talk back, but it is talk back that called the doctor's because I asked them to) but anyways he is needing his younger tie clipped and his hearing checked because his speech therapist at talk back recommend me to do so. I called last time the end of April and still nothing. So now I'm going to have to email or call back and have them tell them he needs referred to get it fixed so they can properly help him. Also, they don't do shots I had to take my now 3 month old and my 5 year old to get it done at the health department! They don't seem to do a full checkup and is always in a hurry to be done. They don't seem to concerned about their patients especially the younger ones. This place is awful. Rude Staff. Unprofessional and no basic mannerism. Would not recommend

Unprofessional, completely unorganized and staff is constantly turning over. Dr. Bryant took time with me, was very compassionate and now we are stuck with new ownership that is never on premises. Dr. Atyia has destroyed what use to be my favorite medical walk in center. Now that the ownership has changed hands, you will never receive proper care under a licensed Physician / MD, as he, Dr. Atyia is only concerned about saving a few bucks , even if it cost you your life by hiring unqualified individuals will very little education to operate his entire Practice. These individuals never went through medical school and you will never receive proper medical services with a licensed Physicians at Doctors Care in Johnson City, TN 37604. As much as I respect nurses they do not have the credentials and knowledge that I seek for my health. I pay my insurance company on time and the coverage is not cheap. I expect our provider to refer only the best. But this was certainly not the case. These flat out RUDE, Arrogent and underqualifed Nurses are running Dr. Atyia, MD's entire practice without any supervision of a Licensed MD.. Plus when asked to be discharged due to the God awful services I received just a few days ago, while in the office waiting area, and not in private, one of the staff members scolded me for asking just 2 times if my appointment is running as scheduled. In addition , they even had the audacity to ask me, a loyal and long term patient for a fee of $50, and they are completely aware that I am living on disability duet to my condition and am completely I am disabled. , Its a shame that this man has no scruples . I highly recommend Dr. Shipley! This Dr. Atif A Atyia, MD is unprofessional and simply abandons his practice trusting medical professions with less than a Masters Degree to run his Practice. Rude, Unprofessional and poor practice ethics. Dr. Atyia hires unqualified staff , such as Nurse Practioners, which is legal, but not the level of care you should be receiving when entering "DOCTORS CARE" , Clearly this is a Nurse Practitioner Facility and sign should reflect "NURSES CARE" BEWARE! Being cheap can be expensive. Would not recommend .
