It's an amazing clinic, Dr. Sharon is so sweet

Dr. Huynh is a great doctor, very nice, professional and comfortable to be around. She really spends time listening to me and always responds to my questions in a very thoughtful way. Unfortunately the front desk staff is a mess!!!!

I'm an EP of Dr. Sharon (who is a lovely Dr.). On the other hand, staff members are not. I've been paying ALL my visits OOP; nothing has ever been for free. Since my very first prenatal appt. I was very clear w/all of them, that I wanted to see Dr. Sharon for all my pregnancy appts. but that at the same time I was waiting on my Medicaid to be approved and at some point, IF this was ever approved, I was going to look for another provider who accepts Medicaid (because I already knew/was notified Medicaid was not accepted at this office). I always left this very clear to everyone, again, I never asked for anything for free, I always paid ALL my visits. I recently was accepted for Medicaid & I'm still in THE PROCESS of seeing another physician, but in order for him to accept me he needed to review my medical records. So, I requested these from Aurora Gonzalez Associates' staff. They just called me today, that my records had been released and that my appointment (already scheduled for the end of the week) had been cancelled since I was already leaving this office and planning to see another physician. The lady who spoke with me on the phone was very rude, and seemed very mad, and upset about me leaving and transferring to another Dr's office. I questioned why she had cancelled my appt. (a very important one, because it was the anatomy scan ultrasound); and she simply said "because you asked us to release medical records, so you're seeing another doctor, so we cancel your appt". According to her, this is a "policy thing"; which I just reviewed all your policies, and I don't see anything related to this matter at all. This person basically denied medical services to me and my baby, which I was going to pay out of pocket anyway. I never asked her to cancel this appt. for me, I still don't have an appt. w/ another Dr. because like I said I'm IN THE PROCESS of it. I still wanted to see Dr. Sharon and have my baby checked for the anatomy scan; which this lady DENIED to me.

One of my friends recommended me Dr Aurora Gonzalez . I went in with fertility issues and on our first appointment she sent me to get every test don’t to make sure I have pcos . Her my goal became her goal which is helping me conceive .

I decided to use this practice with my second pregnancy but haven’t been in about 7 years and so much has changed! All they care about is money instead of your health needs. The doctor was okay but unfortunately I decided to go change while being 36 weeks pregnant due to the front office/management because they want to give you an OB Package when your 7 1/2 months and expect you to pay it in full by 8 months BEFORE billing any of your insurances. It doesn’t make sense and they wouldn’t allow me to see the doctor after I told them to bill my insurance first. I’m literally sitting there crying because I went to the emergency room two days prior and needed a follow up with my Dr and they refused and didn’t even have the sympathy to offer me a napkin to wipe my face. I’m so HAPPY I CHANGED my doctor because my new OB office is amazing with POSITIVE vibes and they show empathy for their patients.

Great experience, very professional, love Dr Vila-Wright!!

Avoid at all cost! This place is a scam. All they care about is siphoning your money. The front desk staffs are rude, incompetent, and liars. Stay away from one named "Millie".

I really liked the doctor, but the staff up front is rude .. I didn’t get the name of the person that’s started arguing with me about making a appointment when I asked to call and schedule but she forcefully wanted to schedule and not only that they charge you $100 if you miss a appointment. And then they charge you a fee for the “doctor” to deliver.. which for both either or vaginal and c section is over $600. I don’t think that’s right child birth is expensive as it is.

The doctors are amazing but the front staff horrible they hang up on you they answer the phone and then hang up and the always say the have to put you on hold and then they hang up this makes the doctors look bad so disappointing how they want us to trust them and they can’t even answer the phone extremely unprofessional and dangerous for the women who are having an emergency or need information about something that can be solved by a simple call

Excellent service! It was my first visit today and I didn’t have to wait at all. Dr. Golden is very knowledgeable and took her time answering all my questions and giving me advice.

I really love my doctor Linda Huynh and have not ever had a problem. She is the best! BUT one of the ladies at front name Jessica was extremely rude on the phone this morning! She literally disturb my spirit! I called about a portal message concern and the 1st lady was professional and polite, but then Jessica take call and sounded very rude and annoyed. I said excuse me who am I speaking with cause she picked up call in a very annoyed voice and said he name fast, and she says very quick dry annoyed again Jessica how can I help you. I had to say is everything ok, good morning to you, you sound very annoyed and disturb. That’s how unprofessional her tone was. Then after me calling her tone out she tried to change her attitude! The doctors may be great but I wouldn’t know. I really wanted to be a patient of one of the doctors on staff until I tried to book an appointment. The office staff I encountered is absolutely horrible. To book an appointment or ask a question be prepared to be placed on hold for an extended time. Dr. Vila-Wright is great! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially those who’ve had trouble finding an Ob/gyn they feel comfortable with and heard!

I really loved this doctors office especially the doctors. It’s the rest of the staff that bring the issues. I was transferred to a different doctor due to being high risk very understandable. I’m pregnant with my second son and I paid up front a lump sum for my delivery before I knew I would be transferred. Come November 2021 I was transferred and the claim was sent to my insurance. I was told a refund and the billing process takes up to 6 weeks. I said okay no problem 6 weeks past no communication. Finally I get a call letting me know my insurance will send a check to them and it will be sent to me. It’s been over two months no response from them it’s always I’ll call you back and no call back. I deliver in the next 30 days and this refund isn’t a little bit of money. I work for UT so I’m disgusted. My insurance even told me a check was sent to them so I’m not understanding the lack of communication and how things are ran but I can’t trust them with my money ever again. Modifying my last review where I gave the office 5 stars, now down to 1. Spent all afternoon calling the office because of an issue that I deemed important, as another medical professional. Left a message with their answering service and was told they’d return the call after lunch. No call returned by 230pm so I called again and was placed on hold for 15-20 minutes and was told a Nurse would call me back. No return call despite this being an urgent issue. Finally, I call at 4pm so I can talk with someone before the office closes. I was put on hold 5 times even when I asked repeatedly not to place me on hold. I hung up and kept calling. I had to be completely unprofessional to finally get my concern addressed. My obgyn Dr. Whitelock is AMAZING, but as a person who also worked at a front desk before, the office staff need reorientation. They make you sign authorization to charge your credit card $100 for cancelation of appointment and $250 for cancelation of surgery within 10 days. Many other smaller charges.

Horrible. They have zero customer service and are extremely disorganized. They billed my insurance incorrectly for prenatal appointments, which has been a headache to correct. Dr ,Aurora Gonzaleles , and her team are great and helpful, last week ,I call them for an urgent appointment, They add me on the schedule and handle me excellently.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Whitelock we discussed my concerns and she quickly came up with a plan to get me on track and where I needed to be. I could tell that even though she had on a mask you could see in her eyes that she was smiling. Kudos to the entire staff for assisting me in my nervousness and repeated questions.

Front staff and the nurses are all very friendly and helpful. Dr. Golden is fantastic! She’s easy to talk to, she listens, and she’s forthcoming and honest about the science and about her clinical opinion without ever being condescending, judgmental, or alarmist. 10/10 would recommend.

My experience was great. I am a new patient & felt very comfortable with Dr. Whitelock. The front desk ladies are very nice & inviting. Kudos to Jessie for being very nice over the phone & in person! Her energy is amazing.

I love this office been coming for over 10 years now, never had an issue with scheduling or getting a hold of the staff. Everyone is very professional and courteous. I was going to wait until I am done with this office until I leave a review. But I think 8 months of giving them the benefit of the doubt is way too generous. The doctors here are fine but the staff is hands down the worst I had ever to deal with. Changing appointment times without informing me, every time I go on time for my appointment I have to wait minimum of 20 minutes to sometimes an hours, they could not be more rude on the phone or in person, asking me who my doctor is instead of having it on record, unprofessional and misinformed, and I could not stress this enough, the RUDEST. You’re dealing with pregnant women the least you can do is put a fake smile on your face. There is so much more wrong with this staff like they always act in a hurry including the nurses. If you’re open until 5 then you’re open till 5. Don’t act all in a hurry and rush me once its 4:30 or 4:45…. I saw Dr. Huynh for my first visit and she was phenomenal and so was all the staff that I encountered. I love that they send text reminders also. I have saw 4 gynecologist before her and finally feel like I have found one for long term.

I made an appointment with Dr. Gonzalez for a consultation. Office staff was friendly and office is nice. Dr. Gonzalez listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. She explained all the options I had and we came up with a plan to treat my symptoms. It was a great visit! Highly recommend this doctor.

The worst office at communicating with patients regarding test results. You have to continuously call and call to get any results. This is horrible especially when you’re concerned about them.

Vila-Wright is my doctor and I've been rescheduled three separate occasions. I was told that if I schedule my appointments on Wednesday then I won't be rescheduled anymore because she's not on call Wednesdays. Welp, received a call today that my appointment with Vila-Wright was canceled but I could see Dr. Chaires-Vasquez instead. I was furious but I ultimately agreed to the other doctor. Then I received a call stating I couldn't see that doctor because the office would be closed due to the weather. They want me to drive in the same "inclement weather" they have an issue with all the way to their Pearland office. Let me get this straight. The cold weather is too much for your doctors to drive in but it's not too much for your pregnant patients to drive in. ???? I don't live anywhere near Pearland. The doctor is sweet but the staff is not helpful. I waited a week for a refill and when i spoke to the answering service they said the doctor would want me to go to the emergency room for a refill. A new doctor is needed if the staff can't help.

The doctors are amazing. Very professional and helpful. The only complaint I had 3 years ago and now the same with my second pregnancy is the nursing staff.
