Dr. Massaad is Excellent. If you have colorectal problems, tumors, cancer, you should seek his opinion. With any other doctor, I would have had a colostomy bag. I am very lucky and blessed to have had Dr. Massaad as my surgeon. Thank you.

Dr. Massaad is very compassionate! He takes his time with you and asks you several times if you have any questions. I am grateful that he will be taking care of me!

My husband has several large calcified nodules on his thyroid. We found out in the beginning of the year 2021. They decided to schedule his biopsy out several months despite the huge concern. To no surprise Dr massaad decided vacation was more important got pushed back a couple more weeks. Then in late april got another call that they had to push the appointment back AGAIN. ok so its may 2021 now 5 months after finding all this out and we're at the appointment for biopsy. We were sitting 40 minutes in the room waiting before I go out and ask nicely what is the delay. They immediately become defensive and start saying the Dr is in emergency surgery so I proceed to ask why we're we not informed then all of a sudden he's not in emergency surgery he's running late with a patient. My husband is black, they proceed to tell us we can have subway gift cards (INCREDIBLY OFFENSIVE) we say no we just want our basic medical care we need. Dr massaad comes in a hour late screaming at my husband "what is problem what wrong with you" my husband tells him the issue and the Dr proceeds "go somewhere else go other state I only doctor in this end of maine". So instead of getting the biopsy we were treated horrible by doctor and staff and my husband now needs to see a REAL specialist in bangor 6 months after finding out he might have cancer because Dr massaad thinks people are indispensable and he's on a ego trip and acts better than he is. Disgusting. Called hospital to report this and they haven't taken it serious either. I have been very fortunate to have had Dr. Massaad perform several procedures on me over the years. My move to the VA for all medical purposes has forced me to leave his care. Anyone would be very lucky to have Dr. Massaad as a care professional. Thank you Dr. Massaad for all you have done for me.
