She's the best ever!

I came to Dr.Merlo with my son for a 2nd opinion after a nearby office wanted to put my son in surgery to fix cavities he didn’t have. Dr. And staff were so understanding that he was just an excited little boy and treated him so well. And me too, and came up with an amazing plan to treat him. I am so glad I trusted my gut about getting a 2nd opinion. They didn’t rush us around the office just to get rid of us and they didn’t charge us our first born or even mention putting my child under. Love Dr. and staff and my son will be under her care until she retires. Thank you all. Dont let them use the gas on your children. That is not being human. Treating the children. Alike guinea pigs to make money. Just because the smiles and charm of the assistants is pleasant does not mean that the dentist is looking out for your childs best interest. To much gassing and drilling and filling for NOTHING! TOTALLY IGNORANT.

When I was a kid I was brought to this dental office. They were cruel people. Every time I had a cavity they would strap me down in that chair where I couldn't move and would give me the numbing shot. Now I'm sure you think that they needed to give me a numbing shot but they dont need to give you SEVEN SHOTS. I intend to have a class action law suit pending with this dental office for causing trauma to me as a 5 year old. I still do have nightmares about Dr. Merlo and think that she and her whole team deserve to sit in a jail sell for the rest of their miserable lives. Dr. Merlo told me my daughter had eight cavities and that if they were not taken care of that her school could call child services on me for neglect. Previous dentist found only a month before. She then grabbed pulled my daughter's arm to put her in the chair, while my daughter held onto me. I was about to put her in the chair. My five year old is crying then and I am trying to calm her. Dr. says, " are we done yet?" we left. Parents are not allowed in the room while they strap children down.

Horrible. Parents not allowed in room. They use restraints on children who cry or get upset during procedures

Awesome is how I describe our experience. My son is only 4 and I think I was more nervous then he was. My son loves coming here and let me say he needed a lot of work and the staff was always friendly and Dr.Merlo Amazing!
