Barbara Socha

The question I keep asking: what are the primary phisions for? To help us with our health problems, to diagnose us and refer to other specialist when needed...So far I have received none of that from Dr.Socha. I schedulled first visit 7 months prior, to be bummped to NP on the day of visit. The NP asked me what do I think is wrong with me heathwise. She wanted me to self diagnose myself. In second instance, I needed urgent medical clearance for bone fracture surgery, and they refused to see me. They told me to go and seek the clearence at Urgent Care instead, while I was in agony from pain. So, I would ask again: why do we need primary phisitian if all they do is collect patients for early check-up? Very dissappinted.

This is my regular primary care physician I find to be very thorough

I'm very happy with dr socha and dr Delgado. The staff are nice and thats half the battle, my anxiety is low when I see the dr. And dr socha called and gave me my results on a Sunday night..thats unheard of..absolutely wonderful ???? God bless them

Very thorough, attentive, informative and knowledgable.

Absolutely the worst - never came out from behind her computer - no follow through - no personality - refers one out for everything. If one makes an appointment w/ her it is here rude arrogant nurse practitioner who actually appears. As an ex- Dean at Rutgers University, I’m embarrassed that we didn’t treat her manners. I am unable to comment on her medical skills because despite four visits she never actually treated me.

This is one of the finest doctors I have ever visited. She was incredibly thorough and kind.

Barbara is first class doctor. She listens and provides suggestions and options. She refers you to other doctors when required but is pretty much a one stop covers everything doctor. She is always an internet away. Would certainly miss her if she was not there.

She is not very friendly which put me off at first but she was extremely thorough so it was worth feeling interrogated initially. She seems very dedicated and I'm glad I got to see her. I was giving up hope I'd ever get to Dr Socha-she's brilliant and I feel fortunate to have her for my doctor.

My only problem with dr sosha is that it is literally impossible to get in touch with her. Whether it be appts or refill meds; even my eye dr wanted to get hold of her for her fax number while I was in his office and even HE couldn’t get in touch with her! All that aside, she is an excellent dr who will get to the bottom of all medical problems you may have. She has even called me on a Sunday to discuss medications . I was supposed to have surgery back in September 2018, another local doctor (I'm not mentioning his name) was going to "CLEAR" me for surgery, but left the country without signing the clearance. Their office called to say "well, doctor is not here and he's the only one that can sign your clearance) "really?". Thank God that happened. A co-worker told me to go see Dr. Socha, so she could clear me. She did a very thorough check on me and noticed that on my EKG it said "ABNORMAL" (how this OTHER doctor missed that is beyond me!!), she asked me to postponed the surgery until she was sure she could clear me (which I did). I will always be thankful to Dr. Socha, as maybe if I wouldn't have gone to her, I might not be here today. I went to Sharon, she prescribed a product unavailable, she was gone for days, I asked the office about contacting her for the same drug available as an ointment v. Applicators. This is poor, unacceptable and I will never recommend their practice. Sam rushing

Dr. Socha is in the running for one of the most comprehensive practitioner that I have known over my entire life. She really listens and grasps like Sherlock Holmes. My only concern is that once the community discovers how great she is, I will have a hard time getting an appointment with her.
