Dr Barry Norris has prescribed the exact amount of medication I need he did the tests had me come back to check and I have been fine ever since .

Barry makes appointments easy and casual for my daughter. Much better than having to go to a big office.

I don't get all the negative ratings. I like Dr. Norris. I get along with him and he has made the correct diagnosis multiple times, for both myself and my 17 year old son. Keep an open mind. I also have a doctor at Stanford that I have used for over twenty years. For something critical, I would go to Stanford because they have the best supporting team around. This guys a real scum bag. I waited over an hour on more than one occasion. During my most recent visit he struggled to remember anything about the medications he prescribed me in the past. He was in a rush to get out the door and even started to walk out twice, I had to call him back to finish what I wanted to talk about. Then my final issue I brought up he replied “well that’s a big issue we’ll have to discuss that next month”. Extremely unprofessional. If I could give less than one star I would. “Doctor” Norris misread blood results and prescribed the wrong medication. I’ve never had a more dismissive doctor in my life and I’ve had Crohn’s disease since I was a child and have had to see a million of them. P.S. I put doctor in quotes because it’s quite easy to decipher results from a blood test FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH AND WELL BEING, AVOID THIS PLACE. it took me a year to get Dr Norris to open up to me, but now we have a great patient Doctor relationship. it took some work on my part to adapt to his "old school" ways but, i am satisfied with his work the past 3 years he has been my Doctor. just remember to verbalize your needs, Doctors are not mind readers. Also you need to be your own advocate between the Doctor and the med insurance companies ( read: central coast alliance)

He announced to the entire wait room that I have anxiety. Did the same thing to the guy before me. Super unprofessional and ridiculously negligent.

I was telling him what symptoms I had, asking him what he thought about me going back to work after an acident. All he wants to do is get you out of his office. Talked over me and interrupted me every time I tried to talk. He didn't even look at my injuries, and sent me back to work. Now I am at home from work again because I am feeling worse than when I went to see him. He needs to be reevaluated to make sure that he is fit to be a medical doctor at this point in his senility.

If I could leave one star or one I would. First of all I feel bad for the medical assistance that have to work in this office because the doctor is so degrading that it's embarrassing even being a patient in the office. He's lazy he doesn't want to be thorough and when he asked you a question it's like he's talking to a two year old. Dr. Norris has definitely showed me what the bad side of medicine looks like. His license should seriously be questioned.

Condescending jerk with no bedside manner. He repeated the phrase, "You shouldn't be able to afford this" to me like I was getting a great deal on a Black Friday sale. He's a goddamned doctor and he seems to have no interest in actually helping patients so much as he does telling them about "Obama care" and how we're "grandfathered in". His nurses are incredibly polite however almost so much so that it seems like they're trying to make up for the uncaring old man they work for. Condescending jerk with no bedside manner. Barry Norris should not be a licensed doctor! My wife was recently diagnosed with a serious health concern and was referred back to Dr. Norris to go over possible treatment options. He apparently began ranting about other doctors and also started verbally abusing my wife. He had zero helpful information to offer and told her that he did not want to help and that she should find another doctor. No one should be subject to this man's abuse. He is an embarrassment to the medical profession. I just filed a complaint to the CA medical board. Find another doctor!!! Barry Norris should not be a licensed doctor!
