Dr. Barry Carson Tufts

I’ve been a loyal client of Dr. Tufts for over 35 years because he is the BEST! He explains everything well, and does an amazing job; always with a smile and a laugh, and a gentle demeanor while performing his magic. I wouldn’t go to anyone else - however I moved halfway around the world for a new job. But when I come home for a visit, a visit to see him is always tops on my list . Amazing work, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the best experience at a dentist office ever. I would highly recommend him and his office - all the staff are simply outstanding! 6 stars out of 5! ???????????? ??

Changing dentists b/c of moving is one of life's scariest abysses...Im sure Dr Tufts is amazing at what he does,but when a senior aged new patient arrives and basically gets sent away for a pathology report on a single absess that doesnt hurt at all,w that apptmt's earliest possible apptmt is 6 mos away.is "troubling",as is popular to say today...There must be a better way to 'start' with a new DMD / patient relationship than this referral into the distant future

I've been going to Dr. Tufts for since I was a kid. I'm now in my mid-30s. I still saw him while living in Boston (a 45 min drive) because he was so much more trustworthy and friendly than the dentists I saw in the city. His hygenists are amazing and make my cleanings comfortable. When concerns outside the normal cleanings arise, he's always transparent about the situation and possible course of action. He doesn't push unnecessary procedures or costs on me like some of the city doctors did. I trust his expert opinion fully and highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Tufts is an excellent dentist, with years in the field I trust him fully with myself and my entire family. He takes a conservative approach to modern dentistry, very pleased with him and the rest of the staff.

As Dr Tufts ages I do worry about his ability to spot current and potential dentistry problems given the 1-2 minutes he is present at that cleaning.

Dr. Tufts knows what he is expert at and refers to specialists when necessary. This is unlike some dentists who try to do everything.
