I was not the patient on this visit. I accompanied a friend who was nervous about her visit and her health because her mother died from heart complications. After waiting almost 2 hours to see this doctor...when he finally arrived he was extremely abrubt and condescending toward my friend. Dr. Ayele did not allow her to talk and he continually boasted about his credentials. When she said that she'd been suffering a very long time with chest pains (one of her reasons for seeing this doctor) he appeared not to believe her and promptly said that IF she had chest pain...he would have his nurse take her to the ER via wheelchair. I was shocked at his treatment and have never experienced a physician like Dr. Ayele. I have never written a review on a physician before because i know that the field of healthcare is a difficult one and i usually give physicians a "break" if their bedside manner is less than perfect. However I felt I must give this review after witnessing the severely unkind treatment of my friend by Dr. Ayele. I was not the patient on this visit. Dr Ayele is a very warm, personable yet professional doctor. He is very thorough and caring. I see him in Lima at his office in St. Rita's Hospital. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
