Went for a second opinion for my tkr to see him. Told nothing was wrong with it and probably didn’t need a tkr in the first place. Ordered a mri for back. Never went thru with mri because I knew something was wrong. The ct scan I had showed loosening by the tibia he said the Radiologist read it wrong probably. Dr. Roehr placed a spacer in my knee after other doctors wanted to amputate it. I just recieved a complete knee replacement, I owe my walking abilities to Dr Roehr, and Dr. Cashen. No doubt in my mind God put these men in my direction

Incredible the difference in an excellent Doctor vs a questionable one. Dr Roehr did a great job redoing my complete knee replacement! The previous Dr. Barry Collins cost me a lot of pain and money...lots of swelling beyond recognition. His procedure caused my leg to retain the blood from surgery which caused crazy swelling and I had to have this (cost to me) a cooling device that had cold water coursing through it to help with sewlling. It was so painful that I wanted to forego using it plus Iand it was awkward to move from room to room. My healing time was more. With Dr. Roehr upon unwrapping the bandages my mouth dropped over the minimal amount of swelling and hardly any bruising. Dr. Roehr has great bedside manner and I had great confidence in him. Kind, personable, confident, just a great person to have taking care of you. I always felt well-cared for,

I have sickle cell disease, which caused the ball at the top of my femur to erode. Rather than doing a hip replacement, Dr. Roehr drilled several holes into the top of the femur, anticipating that when the bone repaired the holes, it would also regrow the ball. The surgery worked perfectly. I am grateful that Dr. Roehr had the knowledge to recommend this alternative to a hip replacement, and the expertise to perform the procedure successfully. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish.
