Very thorough and left me feeling in good hands.

Dr. Babel did not do my surgery as was discussed the day before. Even my paperwork says total bilateral mastectomy. What a shock it was when I woke up after surgery and found out he had only hollwed out my breasts leaving the skin intact. My plastic surgeon who came in to put my temporary implants in as Dr. Babel was finishing up was very upset that I did not tell him of the change of plans. There was no change of plans. All breast tissue was to be removed. I had many problems with this and three years later I was referred to a U of M breast surgeon who then put me in surgery again and removed 3 1/2 pounds of breast tissue. After having cancer twice in my breast there was no other option than to get all tissue removed. Can’t help but feel Dr. Babel should have paid for my distress. He should’ve paid for all my travels to Ann Arbor. He should have paid for all doctor and hospital bills because he did not do as we had planned. Be careful with this doctor. Didnt explain much didnt give me a surgery summary to let me know what i got in me what he took out would have been nice...

I Had A Ventral Hernia He did Hernia Repair surgery On Me In June Of 2010 He Did A Great Job I Would Recommend Him With A 5 Star.

Dr. Babel is by far the most attentive, kindest, and overall fabulous doctor I've ever had. Too bad there aren't just a few more like him. I feel very blessed that I had the opportunity to have him as my surgeon and believe I would not still be here if it wasn't for him and his knowledge. He is so personable and is always pleasant to talk to. All his patients have to feel so confident with him, and he never seems to be in a hurry. He always asks if I have any questions or concerns before he leaves me. His nurse and staff are also so helpful and always returns your call asap. This wasn't my first surgery, this was my 8th! Sure wish I would have had him a long, long time ago!! May not have had to have gone through such ordeals and sooo much suffering for the last 15 years. He has a wonderful bedside manner.
