I started going to Dr. Remler in 1998 when he chose me as is his patient! I went to Froedtert Hospital Neurology Clinic to see another doctor I was referred to by Mayo Clinic. He said, I can't see her as a patient! Dr. Bernd Remler said, I will see her right now. He did even though I had No appointment. With the respect, patience and understanding he's shown me in 24 years I have been going to Dr. Remler, I have asked myself what will happen to me if he can no longer be my dear friend, my confidante. Too sure of himself. Misdiagnosed autoimmune encephalitis as 'migraine' and was adamant too (despite me having complex symptoms without headache for six months). Prescribed a diuretic medication for 'migraine', even though me and his assistant warned that I had low blood pressure. He did not listen nor care. He did not look at my records. He spent less than 5' in the room. Of course the diuretic did not work, and made me faint. Run away from this place. Too sure of himself. Dr Remler saved my vision, my life!

I had a very rare neurologic disorder. Dr. Remler was my families' go-to doctor. He diagnosed me when no one else did. I have nothing but praise and thanks for him.
