Dr Mewis has been my primary doctor for over 20 years. She and her staff are wonderful. I have never had to wait long to be seen. She has always made my health a priority. I highly recommend her to anyone!!

Dr. Mewis is wonderful! I have been a patient for many years and always feel heard. She takes the time to listen and figure out a solution. Office staff is friendly. She is gets back to you with test results quickly. I highly recommend her!

I've been a patient of Dr. Mewis for the better part of a decade. She's conscientious. She listens. I've never felt rushed in an appointment. She has a way of making you feel like you are her only patient that day. Her front office staff is sharp and competent. Highly recommend

Thorough, caring doctor devoted to her profession. Always I have been grateful to be one of her patients.

Dr. Mewis is outstanding! When I broke my back, she called me (while I was in the hospital) to see who was treating me and the plan for my recovery. She did the same thing when I broke a hip. She always takes time to explain any treatment and answer questions. I never feel hurried or that my concerns are unimportant. Lab test information is sent to me in about a day, and she is super fast to answer e-mails. I trust her completely and dread the day she retires. She's a STAR!!!!

This office is either extremely understaffed or just does not care about its patients. Maria, the receptionist, is quite rude in every phone conversation I have ever had with her (when she answers the phone!! Sometimes you wait on hold for 20+ minutes just to be able to speak to her!). I loved Dr. Mewis when I first started visiting her, but she has become essentially non-accessible. Scheduling routine appointments is next to impossible (again, this could be a support staff issue), and the office routinely fails to confirm my prescriptions with the online pharmacy THEY insist I use, leading to problems over and over again getting my prescriptions. This office has been a constant source of frustration, and I would never recommend a new patient to get caught up in this mess. No one deserves to be treated with this lack of respect in getting their routine medical care!

I trust her completely. She is very honest and thorough. Lab results are always back the same day or the next day. I love being able to use their patient portal.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mewis for many years and can’t say enough how wonderful of a drshe is and her staff . Is great I’ve called for different medical issues and always receive a call back . Dr Mewis’s nurse Rene is fantastic!!! Iam so lucky to have such wonderful people I can count on . Thank you !

I made an appointment... took off work to make the appointment and was told she's not taking new patients. Why was I given an appointment? Why not honor it since I have it and you apparently had the opening? Did I mention I took off work! I was so upset and hurt... I need to see a doctor!

I called (in August) to establish an appointment as a new patient. They were not able to see me until November 1st. I waited and waited and waited. I really needed to see a doctor. I called the office two weeks ago to verify the appointment and talked to a receptionist. She confirmed the appointment for Nov. 1st. Today (October 24th), the office calls to cancel my appointment saying that they are not accepting new patients. WTH. Thanks so much for WASTING MY TIME and risking my health in the meantime. I have waited such a long time. Now I have to start over again somewhere else. They need to get their communications in order. People shouldn't be allowed to set up a new patient appointment if the doctor is not seeing new patients. It's unethical to have a patient wait to see a doctor for such a long time, and then cancel the appointment days before. I called (in August) to establish an appointment as a new patient. I have been a patient of Dr. Mewis for many years. She is remarkable and I appreciate her very much. I am always impressed with the way she shows interest in my health whatever the purpose of the visit. It is most unusual to find such a dedicated doctor with the wonderful bedside manner she displays. Dr. Mewis is well know in her field and greatly respected. Ft. She is the best doctor I have ever have. She is thorough, she takes her time to talk with me and ask me questions concerning my health. She doesn't rush through the appointment. She is a very caring doctor. The office staff and the nurses are very efficient. I never have to wait over 5 minutes for my appointment. When I need to talk with the nurse if I leave a message they always return my call the same day. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

For years both my older mom and I kept trying to tell her something was really wrong. She just kept saying that 'she was just getting old'. We'll, turns out the condition she had been 'ignoring' literally almost killed her. When I asked the surgeon how long this had been brewing, he said for years. So, if you want someone who just dismisses your concerns, she'said your gal!

Dr. Mewis is an extremely thorough and caring doctor. Would recommend her to anyone!
