Beth engaged with me in my problem solving and is very personable. But like many therapists who do not want to handle the tougher cases, when I needed her most, she wouldn’t see me anymore. Therapists are only human. If I were her I wouldn’t want to see me again either! If you think you have a tough case (and who doesn’t) you might try a referral from a psychiatrist or perhaps your primary care provider. Let them know what you are looking for in a therapist.
