I called the endo office at the clinic and asked for someone who knew about PCOS. They referred me to Dr. Rahman. At that time, I was experiencing some concerning hormone imbalances that I didn't know was stress-related, PCOS, or a combo of both. As I met Dr. Rahman, I found him polite and listened to my concerns well. However, the questions he asked me were very loaded towards being diabetic, not so much about PCOS. I'm not diabetic, nor have I ever been diagnosed. However, I happen take a medication that's common for both PCOS patients and diabetic patients. He did not prod much further past asking me about how I was diagnosed with PCOS, rather than giving affective advice on managing the symptoms I was experiencing. He offered multiple options of diabetic medications, when again I'm not diabetic. It was a majorly, expensive waste of my time, unfortunately. Dr. Raman Is by far the most compassionate thorough doctor I have ever had. He was referred to me for my thyroid nodules. I saw him for another follow up today after a year and he was just as kind and thorough as he was a year ago. He always takes the time to listen and explains things well. Since the recent retirement of my prior endocrinologist I have been asking my other ProHealth Care physicians who they might recommend that I see. The common name mentioned was that of Dr. Bharat Raman and, during my initial appointment with Dr. Raman, today, I now understand why. Dr. Raman was well-prepared for our visit, having reviewed my health history, in advance, and he gave his full attention to my questions and concerns, each of which he answered and addressed in an informed, personable and professional manner. By the time our visit was over, we had established a comprehensive course of action to follow, and I had confidently concluded that Dr. Raman will be a great addition to my ProHealth Care team of medical professionals. Dr. Raman is very kind, friendly, helpful doctor who cares about my wellbeing. He takes the time to hear my concerns and really listens to me. I appreciate his time and patience. His staff is also kind and friendly. I don't feel like I'm being rushed and pushed out the door. Thank you all for what you do!!!

I really like seeing Dr. Raman for my health issue. He listens to me and that is what is most important to me. We discuss my treatment options and come to a plan of action together.

Dr. Raman is the most thorough doctor I have ever had. I would recommend him to anyone seeking an endocrinologist. In addition to being thorough, he is very kind and considerate, writing down and printing for you the next steps. His appointments do get backed up a bit, but it is always worth the wait.

Dr. Raman is the best. Thorough, kind, and patient. He was my doctor for many years until he left Madison for another city. Wherever he ended up, you are lucky to have this endocrinologist.

Dr. Raman does a great job, takes the time needed to be thorough. He has my confidence.

This was my first time seeing Dr.Ramen. He went through my past history and was very thorough on everything. He told me information on the vitamins that I’ve been taking and how they could affect the thyroid that no other doctor informed me on. With Dr Raman as my new physician, I felt he took the time and effort in knowing my history and examination. He also provided more information on new systems to better track my glucose which I took him up on. I feel comfortable continuing working with Dr. Raman and his staff to help control and maintain my diabetes.

Dr. Raman was very thorough, asked a lot of questions. He addressed my concerns and more. I have never had an Endocrinologist that took the time discussing my concerns. I was not rushed making me feel that my health mattered. The best Endocrinologist I have ever seen.

He will go through specific symptoms one by one because people like me think things like being exhausted all the time or having trouble sleeping is just a normal part of life. Very slow to respond to questions in my chart

Dr. Raman is professional, quietly spoken, thorough, responsive and has a very warm bedside manner. He has been the only doctor I've seen that has taken the time to get a full understanding of my health history directly from me, as the patient, rather than going off of the regurgitation from other providers' input in the computer. I've had stage 2 hypertension for five years, and no provider had actually given me the diagnosis (and a very important diagnosis it is!) until he had written it in my chart. It is very common for people to have concomitant conditions and he's shown himself to be mindful of that by giving complete care by making sure to refer me to other specialists who can further help me on my health journey. I truly appreciate his warmth and compassion; so much so that I wish that he could be my primary care doctor! I encourage anyone seeking an excellent specialist in endocrinology to become a patient of Dr. Barat Raman's. His staff are also friendly, thorough and responsive. Dr Raman has been my doctor for 13 years He is the kindest, most thorough doctor I have ever known He listens to you and advises you on your condition Every time I visit his office, I leave feeling fulfilled and calm after we have discussed my condition Diabetes is an extremely frightening disease and he has encouraged me every step of the way
