Wow. That was a harsh long rant. Don't know their situation, but my experience couldn't have been better. I stayed 30 days. The psychiatrist assigned to me bent over backwards to get me in. It's really a short term facility, but because of the complexity of my medical issues, he was given the ok to allow me to stay until ready to be released. He was the doctor who gave me the diagnosis of PTSD and the right medication for PTSD. It has helped tremendously. He also kept me as a private patient, even though I did not live in Sacramento. The commute was worth it. I took advantage of all the groups and other activities. I saw many that never went to group. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I am admitting myself tomorrow and I certainly hope Dr. Jawed Arif is still one of the psychiatrist s. Wow. That was a harsh long rant.
