Blessy Mathew Jacob

She has been wonderful to me. Her and her team have been very supportive. I don't understand the bad review that was left on here? She's very thorough and has great manners to me. I wanted to leave a positive review because this experience is very personal to me and I'm appreciative of all the great support I've had while going through this. She has been great!

Dr. Jacob is an excellent doctor and an expert in her field. She is compassionate and takes the time to listen. Truly concerned about every aspect of your health. I am so thankful I was referred to her! The office staff is very friendly as well.

I went to Moffitt for 10 months, but did not have a good experience at all. Unfortunately, I’ve come to Dr. Blessy at a late stage of reoccurring BC. She’s been good to me, she’s listened to my wants more than anyone at Moffitt ever did, and it feels like a more individualized experience. Moffitt is more of a chemo machine, strictly business. She’s been compassionate but direct, I think her directness might be misunderstood for lack of compassion, but I have found her easy to talk to in an unguarded and honest way. She’s direct but I believe she does care.

I do not give reviews it I was compelled to do so. I do read reviews and take them with a grain of salt. Not good only was Dr Jacob attentive her manners and knowledge made me feel confident in my decision. I have many Drs in my family and I feel very comfortable in Dr. Jacob’s care!

She actually goes by Dr. Jacobs. She is a wonderful doctor and cares about her patients. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an oncologist.

Dr. Jacob has no bedside manner. The lack of kindness and compassion she has towards terminally ill patients is disgusting. When a patient is told their life is now limited on top of the treatment not working, you would hope she would understand the importance of how she chooses to deliver the news! She should also expect her patients to have questions when they are told an unfortunate outcome and not follow those questions and concerns with rude remarks such as “I’m not god” and “I dont have a crystal ball”! When confronted about her demeanor her response was “You can go to another doctor”. What a horrible way to treat patients and their families especially considering what they are already going through. I hope this review steers others to stay away from her and choose another physician. Dr. Jacob has no bedside manner. Dr. Jacob is a well-informed and compassionate oncologist. She spent several hours with me on my first visit providing a plethora of information regarding my diagnosis and answering my many questions, all while making me feel comfortable with my treatment plan. I highly recommend Dr. Jacob!

She is a very pleasant lady. Dr needs to listen to patients. No return calls we’ll once after 13 tries Mis diagnosed cancer free not the case I would have to challenge for tests to be ordered and was correct in my thoughts having PE. . They don’t work as a team, as I know of teams working together Being from Boston and having the best, sets my expectations very high. I myself would go directly to the airport if I ever became ill.
