Dr. Shunnarah has been my dentist for about four or more years now. I highly recommend him. He is a very skilled dentist. I have been pleased with the service and care I have received through this practice. Staff are friendly and very professional. So far, I have not experienced any sort of problems. I have referred friends to his practice and will continue to do so.

Let me preface this review with the following statement; AS ALWAYS, EVERYONE at Montevallo Family Dentistry was AMAZING!! Yesterday morning I had an intense procedure to have nine new crowns permanently “installed” (maybe that is the correct t term). This is, by far, the most painful dental procedure I have had done. One or two is bearable but nine was NOT fun. I would NOT have done this procedure anywhere else. There were at least 4 people with me during this procedure in addition to Dr. Shunnarah. They made every effort to keep me comfortable and make sure I was doing ok. I absolutely love everyone there!

Dr. Shunnarah and his staff are a ‘five star’. You’re greeted with a smile and a genuine hello upon entering the office. Every single one of his staff is super accommodating to your every need. And Ashley my hygienist, is super and thorough! Dr. Shunnarah and his staff genuinely care about the well being of their patients. I have a beautiful smile, thanks to Dr. Shunnarah, who worked on my crowns (7) to perfection!

People usually dread going to the dentist, but not me. Not when Dr. Shunnarah is my dentist, he made sure I knew I am family. He has the best team in his office. My two team members were absolutely awesome. Not only is his team professional, they are genuinely sweet and what a pretty group. They truly care about the patients. The new dentist came in my area and was so very nice. She is obviously a great addition to the practice. It had been a while since going to the office, however everyone remembered me, greeted me with smiles and warm words. Mrs. Shunnarah is always so kind and she takes times with the patients explaining next steps and the plans for treatment. I am so grateful to be apart of this fabulous family! I can not thank Dr. Shunnarah enough for his sweet words and understanding busy schedules get in the way and reminding me self care has to be a priority.

I can't say enough about them. They made me comfortable and was so great. I have always hate the dentist but I can say they have changed my mind on that

My Montevallo Dentistry “family” took amazing care of me again today. I figured I would have to have something not pleasant done (today was a root canal). Dr. Shunnarah and everyone there was as amazing as it is possible to be! As usual! I moved out of the area, like almost 2 hours away. I will drive that far any time, will not see any other Dentist! Hugs to all of you! Go se Dr. Shunnarah, you will not be disappointed!

Highly recommend. Super staff and love the dentist. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and pain free. Very relaxing place. Work with you to fit your budget.

All employees are so nice & very professional. They know you by name & always ask “hows the family”! My experience has always been top notch. They are not just our dentist office… they are family❤️

This dentist office was amazing, the service and staff were impeccable! After a year of tooth pain, Dr. Shunnarah and company really got my smile together with a root canal that was ultimately painless. I’m beyond thankful especially because they worked with my insurance and budget .

The staff was very welcoming, they were very helpful and while you were in the room you could hear them laughing, that is very comforting that they are like family to each other, when Doctor can in you knew he was listening to your dental needs, the goal you are looking for with your dental health. ANYONE THAT NEEDS AN AWESOME DENTIST, THIS IS THE BEST, EVER!!!!! I’m the biggest anxiety driven person. Like many, going to the dentist WAS only by necessity. My thoughts WERE, when the pain of teeth was greater than the fear of pain inflicted by the dentist, only then would I go. HOWEVER, Dr. Shunarrah and his team are a true “Godsend”; a rarity in this time, when misery often surpasses comfort. I would recommend this Dentist to anyone. The staff are super sweet, accommodating, and overall great people. Dr. Shunnarah is considerate and cares about not only the work he does, but also about the patient and their overall wellbeing while in his office. They have gone above and beyond to make my visits as comfortable as possible.

I can not speak more highly of him…. I HAD-real bad anxiety where even thinking about a shot I would start panicking and hands would Stewart getting sweating… That awesome dentist took all of that away!!!! He loves his patients and always makes you feel like family… I would highly recommend him to anyone!!! I will never go to another dentist again!! I have the very best!!!!! There are truly not enough words to describe how wonderful Dr. Shunnarah and his Staff treated me made me feel so comfortable with the procedure. I had to have a Root Canal "Left Side" done, then wouldn't you know a couple weeks later my Right side started giving me issues and the we're able to get me in right way this time I had to have a "Tooth Pulled". I love that they will work with you on payments for service... Great atmosphere and great staff. Beyond the most comfortable and relaxed I have ever been at the dentist. They are constantly checking on you and asking if you need anything. They treat you like family(the family you like haha)!

I had a dental emergency and was worked in same day as a new patient. The staff was so friendly and answered all questions. The dentist was also so great with explanation of what was needed. This was probably the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office.

He and his staff talk to you and engage in conversation as they’re family. I’ve referred several people to him and his staff.

I love Dr. Shunnarah and his staff! They are extremely professional and knowledgeable in everything they do. I’ve never met anyone so kind and caring. They make you feel welcome and like you’re at home. They can handle anything and they’re wonderful at calming your fears. From the moment I walked in the door they made sure I was comfortable and took away any anxious feelings I had. I’m an overgrown child when it comes to going to the dentist so that’s saying a lot. I’ve never had anyone do anything without explaining what they’re doing first and how it will work. They treat you with so much love and kindness you feel like you belong there. They truly love and care about each and every person that walks through those doors. They will go out of their way to help you in each and every way possible. They treat you as if you’re the only patient in the office and take up a lot of time with you. They sit with you and go over every tiny detail with you and answer any questions you have very thoroughly.
