Dr. Bokkwan Jun

I made an appt for today at 1230p. I arrived almost a half hour early. I was taken in on time for a general eye chart exam and puff of air in my eyes. Then I was placed in another waiting room for an hour+ more. What seemed like every employee there walked back and forth from the lunch room and just kept looking at me sitting there. When I asked how much longer I was placed in the exam room and told the doctor was with the patient before me. After overhearing that another patient had left I gave the doctor another 15 minutes. Still nothing so I walked out. When the office called me I was informed that Dr Jun’s appointments are about 4 hours??!! Which means I would have been waiting in the exam room for a while longer. I told the office worker I would NOT have made the appointment if I was told beforehand that the wait would be my whole afternoon. It was a waste of my time and really unprofessional. When appointments are made the patients deserve full disclosure where wait times and lunch breaks are concerned. Also do not schedule appointments during office lunch breaks. Dr. Jun was very nice and very good. I would recommend to a friend. Saw him in Columbia MO Mason Eye institute. -Anna
